So either i got scammazed or its just a bug, but i just purchased a battle tag change and apparently “Diavolo” is in violation of their naming thing lol

there are many other Diavolos on Overbuff so i really dont see what the issue is

I would probably contact customer service. I dont think anyone on the general OW forum is going to be able to help with this.

Diavolos in Greek means Devil. Is Devil a bad word in Blizzard’s eyes perhaps?

Diavolo, not Diavolos. I was using a plural term because i see many people named Diavolo on Overbuff. And it means Devil in Italian. Not sure why blizz would care since they literally made a game called Diablo.

Blizzard also doesn’t let you name your account “god.” Religious names are banned as account names, so Devil probably falls in the same category

Diablo is Devil in spanish.
Diavolo is Devil in Italian.

The fact the Lamborghini is called “Diablo” doesn’t mean anything.

The fact that “Ford” has a type called “Fiesta” doesn’t mean they are mexican or spanish.
