Why is my angle always wrong?

I think my hero has cover…No My hero does not :dizzy_face: :skull_and_crossbones:

From my angle my hero is safely behind cover…from their angle my hero is wide open. :confounded:

How often does this happen in your games?

It’s called favor the shooter. Put simply, when resolving disconnected actions between two game clients, they favor the person shooting so that it doesn’t feel unfair to them if they hit you. It can get a little nuts; it’s one of the reasons Roadhog had to get constant LoS checks on his hook.

It depends how close you are to the corner too

Hurtboxes aren’t exactly 1:1 to the models, and the position of your camera is not the only place where your character’s hurtbox exists.

Even if you don’t take latency into account, you can play a character (like, say, Orisa) and think “I’m behind cover!” but then people can still shoot your massive badonk as you throw it back outside of cover.

Yep, specialy, when you think you are safe from Diva bomb…nope, by some sorcery, you are not.
