When it comes to ships, I feel like Mercy was a popular character to be shipped with almost everyone.
She’s mainly being shipped with:
her former colleague’s daughter
a cyborg ninja who’s formerly a playboy
a geneticist who doesn’t have ethical sense
an edgelord who’s now a mercenary
a COD guy who later confirms to be homosexual by the story writers
There’re even other uncommon Mercy ships’ contents that she’s being shipped with: Ashe, Brigitte, Mccree, Hanzo, Junkrat, Roadhog, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, etc.
I also don’t see other characters but Mercy who’s also being shipped with… own self (e.g Angel & Devil).
Characters such as Doomfist, Hammond & Winston… they’re forever alone.
I don’t think she would be nice to Talon members who want to start another war between humans and omnics, meanwhile she advocates peace, unless you mean the gameplay.
Yeah she won’t be nice, until Reaper does the same crap to her that he probably did to Widow with the help of Moira and Doom… XD
If you want a run down on why people ship her with Reaper though I can share that one with you. Because I do ship them and have asked other Mercykill fans why they like those two. We all kind of came back with the same reasoning behind it.
What about Reinhardt? He’s also blonde during his young age. He has an amazing hair, muscular body and also shields people. Somehow he’s not shipped with everyone.
Soldier76 is also a handsome, blonde man during his young age and again, he fights, protects & heals. And he’s not shipped with everyone (ignoring his sexuality)
Eh, your definition of attractive isn’t the same as Mercy’s nor is it the same as anyone elses. Plus not much to play with there since the dude is in full armor.
You said it yourself, he is gay and after people found that out they started shipping him in gay ships as well even going as far as trying to say he and Reaper have a thing.
Because they’re not cute blonde girls that heal people. I really don’t want to get into it too much because then the whole topic will derail, so I’ll leave it at that.
