the matchmaking now is a joke, yesterday i got a match into a round of “capture the point” for 2 rounds our team roll through the enemy team, and not even one of our team members got killed for that whole match and on average our team went like 20 kills to 0 death against the enemy team. i played this game since Overwatch 1 and the matchmaking has never been this bad.
By messing around, obviously. Not trying is fun, since you do not have to worry about winning.

Because they can’t fix it obviously. They’ve been working on this game for like a decade and the matchmaking is still terrible. I don’t think it’s a solvable problem, we just have to live with it.

I’m still around 50/50 win rate when grouping with at least 1 friend, but anytime I have full rando’s, it just takes one bad potato to sink the ship.
It is what it is. I don’t expect any improvements any time soon, if ever.
I’m currently on a 10 win streak. A couple days ago I couldn’t win a game for my life. Same heroes, same performance. It is completely random my dudes. Don’t sweat it, it’s out of your control.

If you lose it’s a you-problem, getting outplayed has nothing to do with the matchmaker, every Top player will tell you the same otherwise these players wouldn’t consistently hit high ranks.
Change your gameplay, learn new heroes and try to improve if you are getting rolled, doing the same over and over again will not work.
I’ve been getting literal bots today. Like ACTUALLY robots in my lobbies. A DVA bot on my team, and a Moira bot on the enemy team the next game. They would walk into a wall or just walk around aimlessly using abilities at random so they don’t get kicked from the match.
I had a hard aimbotting Widowmaker, like a follow and snap onto head- blatantly obvious aimbotter that the whole lobby was shocked by.
And on top of that, I’m currently low gold-high silver and nearly every win is negated the next game by an absolute STOMP from what I can only assume are literal smurf players, or the matchmaking being utterly broken. It legitimately feels like I’m facing Masters players some games with how much of a skill gap there is between my team and the enemy team. Just these superrrr coordinated and intelligent enemy teams that play everything perfectly to a tee like it’s an Overwatch competition. Meanwhile, the DPS on my team are having a hard time lining up their shots at all, or they’re just attacking the tank who is mitigating all their damage all game, or they don’t even understand what staggering is and that we need to group up. Why do I get people meant for the actual rank I’m in on my team, yet the enemy team is almost always equal skill or insane stomp worth skill? Why do I hardly GET to stomp but I’m constantly stomped?
I honestly don’t think my games have ever felt worse than the last week EVER. And I’ve played this game since 2016.
