I never got this mentality. Everything you do in the game gets you battlepass exp. If just playing the game is “grinding” then why are you playing?

gee, its almost like the 2 week non comp period is partly designed to allow people to gain levels in the battle pass

i never said the char was good in ANY way. i simply stated that the char is FREE (which means you DONT have to pay money) and that the game is FREE (see above point)

Junker Queen needed you to get to 50 in the first BP, and Ramattra needed you at 45. So, really it’s just continuing the trend. I hate the trend, but it’s not the most offensive trend they could’ve done. They could’ve put him behind a paywall without giving you the chance to get him for free. Which, I won’t put it past them doing down the line.
Yeah, this argument doesn’t work, and never has or will, when we used to get heroes automatically before they went F2P. There was no grinding or having to pay money to get the hero. Everyone got them.

Back in my days grinding to unlock a character was the normal. You can either grind the old school way or pay the cash. Up to you.
It’s because of people like you that it won’t change, when the devs only think about money it means that the game has no interest anymore, nobody asked them to make the game F2P, and it would have been much better to buy it and keep it on the same system as overwatch 1 rather than the crap they made of it
