This forum convinced me everyone hates him because hes the worst healer in the game but hes been getting skins non stop, both battlepass and in the shop, this treatment is only reserved for the usual suspects.
And you could say the same about Mercy being bad in game but common shes a super popular character from og OW and the poster girl for all the girlies, so its understandable.
Not that im complaining just curious, is he really that popular?
He probably makes them a lot of money and it wouldn’t surprise me because he replaced Reaper as the hero with a the most top tier skins. Why is he so unbelievably sexy?
Because people who play him spend money on his cosmetics. He’s like the male version of Mercy when it comes to support skins.
Also he has a fun silhouette to work with so they may just enjoy it as well.
I never thought about this, i thought it was the other way around, the easier the silhouette the easier it is to come up with skins for certain characters
Kiriko has a very basic silhouette with her long “skirt” being the only distintic feature, so i always thought thats why she gets so many skins

But yeah typically that’s why you see Lifeweaver a lot in the dev artists fan favorite poll. Where they release all of the concept artworks and they make a skin from one which is supposedly coming for someone or already has(?). I don’t keep up with the fan favorite so I’m not really sure. I actually think his new waiter skin was a fan fave actually?
But during one of them they said that they make those concept skins for fun and it’s purely from the artists person favorite characters to draw. Which Lifeweaver is definitely one of them from the looks of it!
So ig this means Bap has no favorite artists in the dev team? He has 0 concept art and 0 skins

Yeah I buy these, he’s my main - with the exception of Black Swan (it’s just too out there for me), and the Regal/Magistrate skins. The fact that they’re shameless recolors listed individually at that 1900 price point or whatever it is was ridiculous. Other recolors aren’t priced that.
Surprised LW didn’t get Formalwear or Vishkar skins. Hopefully they’ll revisit that.
I think the problem is more that next to nobody mains Bap so nobody buys Bap skins.
Luckily, the guy has a great wardrobe from his OW1 days, so I’m not too broken up about it.
As for LW: people hate having a LW around but that certainly doesn’t mean that LW goes unplayed. There are lots of folks who love to plink away with flowers at max distance. Some days, it feels like QP is full of them.

I do think he’s… attractive? sorta? I mean, he’s not my type, but he’s cute. Wouldn’t say hot, but can imagine why others would find that to be the case.

The rare occasion that I wear Black Swan is when I play on a snowy map to match with the white haha
But now we have the blue Harbinger recolor so I can match that with the snowy maps better.
Frozen Seer is a good one for the arctic maps, also some OWL away skins if you have them. I use the Excelsior Away skin for that map.
