Every single time I use it, invariably. There’s so many groups like “Disabled/gay people are trash,” or other racist or sexist group names where people invite others to join and debate them for some reason. They are always there in spades. When it’s not blatantly rude and discriminatory, it’s some kind of elite club where you get vetted and if the first thing they see on your profile doesn’t please them, you get flamed and kicked.

I’ve reported several of these groups when the name was offensive enough. I never get an action taken notice. OTOH if I report a group title like “Level 25 accts FS” or "Throwing to bronze"I do get the action notice.

Weird, because I’ve reported so many groups that say, “throwing to bronze” or “throwers only,” and I’ve never gotten the notification.

Most likely. It sucks the groups that intentionally throw their games aren’t getting reported. Like ???

I think we, as a community, have already figured out that reports/moderation is based on “how many people have reported this person,” not “is this person actually breaking any rules.”
Which honestly just means that these groups/people aren’t being reported enough… which is a little disappointing, and says a lot about the OW community in general.

I’ve never seen those names pop up on my server (I do see a lot of “Throwers Only”/“Deranking To Bronze”, though), but LFG people are toxic from my (granted, limited) experience. I remember joining an LFG group once and forgetting to turn my profile off private. “KICK HER, KICK HER!”, the group squealed as I quickly turned my profile onto public, only then it was too late. I was booted.
Funny thing was, they were all Plat and I was Diamond lol - One of them was even Gold. They didn’t know what they could have had…

I look at it more of a job interview, where the stats is your resume.
Dont like their use of the system make your own group with black jack and hookers. Idk if there a way to report groups since i dont use that system but this is probably your best option
reporting a group in LFG is possible, but I think only the title is reportable.
better than nothing i guess. also im suprised hookers isnt blacklisted in the forums
hookers is such an archaic term for sex workers. i don’t think they even thought of blacklisting it.
I’m pretty sure that term was last used before the turn of the century.

I’ve seen that happen plenty.
Which is stupid for a video game and 1 dimensional.
It probably means the threshold is too high for the number of reports and the report system is deeply flawed and that once some one is reported enough times its just a slap on the wrist and not a more meaningful ban.
