Blizzard decided to remove most of the cc in overwatch. Except the worst one of them all. Junk trap. Recharges cooldown when its used, so u can use it over and over. No way to escape the trap. That even includes cleanse. You should be able to break the trap when ur trapped in it, so there is some way to get out.
But srsly, my biggest issue with Junk trap overall is the fact that Zen. A floating mf gets trapped in a bear trap.

Oh sorry, humans are such perfect creatures that we are all seeing and even in the midst of an intense battle can have enough awareness to know everything that is happening and has happened around them. I can give a smart azz answer too. Ik you prob main Junk. If you rely on luck so much, just go and gamble. You will at least make money.

it does sometimes clip into the floor and makes it hard to spot. but yeah, just look out for the trap. if you know there’s a junk on the enemy team, you start looking for his traps.

A good tip is to have eyes, a second one and that works everytime is to be attentious, if you still can’t distinguish the trap, then main junk for like a season, you’ll get the hang of it
They don’t get rid of it because you have to walk into it.
Better yet, change Junkrat. He is one of the few that has a super high ceiling and lots of skill to be good at him at a very high level, and a bit OP at lower ranks. I’m actually OK with the spam, it is the bouncing before the explosion inconsistency that makes it frustrating. Sometimes it will bounce once, sometimes twice, and if there is a small area it will bounce 6 or 7 times. Other than proximity I’m really do not get what triggers the balls. So sometimes it will bounce away and explode, other times it just rolls on the floor a bit, and then I’ll step into it, trying to use the bounce sound queues. Also, his mine has relatively high damage for the area of explosion, making for easy toss and kill. Just seems cheap to me. I won’t even play him anymore, because he just feels that cheap, and doubt I’ll ever be good enough to hit that high ceiling. I was in a game once and our Junk was complaining about not being healed, the support said he won’t get heals until he picks a different character. That support was awesome, and I would gladly take that L.
Except when the game clips the trap below the floor. Happened to me multiple times.

I’m 99.9% sure that if i toss a trap and someone gets trapped instantly, i have to wait 10 seconds after throwing first one to throw a second one, same as if nobody got trapped… Also i’m a junk one trick in plat with 2600+ hours on him and i’m quitting the game tonight because this hero is so unplayable, yet when I finally pop off in a match for the first time in like 20, everyone thinks i’m a cheater or need nerf. Why don’t you complain about heroes that are actually dominating the ladder or something? GO look at overbuff and check winrates and pickrates, and more importantly, KDA.
then complain about how the heroes at the top stay at the top for so long and the ones at the bottom suffer.
Watching people repeatedly walking into junk, and now Hog traps, makes me question if people have their monitors on…
Boy is it annoying on Lucio or Tracer.
Hog traps are so much easier to see that it does surprise me they still get caught. Junk traps glitch way too much and float under the floor leaving only 1 or 2 tooth visible.
Just shoot then. After you die enough times to something so easily avoidable, you learn to spot them and shoot them. Now I watch my team go into them more than I do.
Seriously, just shoot the trap. It’s hard juggling all that stuff to begin with but it becomes auto pilot after a while.
