It’s always the same person in the team, sometimes even a couple, they do nothing all game and they’re the only screaming in voice chat.

Honestly it depends on WHY they are the worst player. If its mechanics, trolling, etc… then no idea, but if they are one of the many people that struggle because they misunderstand their role then they get mad because they truly believe that they are the only ones playing “correctly”

Idk, but since they introduced the scoreboard its been a lot better. In ow1 you had someone dying 2 times every fight yapping but now they just yap once and get shut down.
Yep, for that reason good players often have the common sense to be toxic when the match is over.

I think this is what a lot of people gloss over when others tell them to ‘not be toxic in game.’
We’re not saying ‘you have to become a completely stoic monk and never get annoyed at anything ever.’ We’re saying ‘at least turn your mic off before you start screaming.’

Probably because of a slew of real life personal issues so the “fantasy” realm of online gaming is where they can be something they arent in the real world.
It’s always the guy who goes 1-8 who trash talks “eeeezzzzz” when their team carries them the entire match.

Because they need anyone or anything to use as a scapegoat for their own skill ceiling being someone else’s floor
suggesting they “take a break” when they are so blatantly tilted is probably the most efficient way to learn new slurs.

Someone who wholeheartedly believes that everyone else is the problem is likely never to change anything to improve themselves AND throw the absolute most vile blamethrowing around at the drop of a hat because in their world it is literally everyone elses fault they aren’t succeeding.
