Why is "ez" allowed when "gg ez" isn't?

Why is only “gg ez” blocked in the text-chat? I don’t get it. You can’t say “Good Game Easy” but you can say “Easy” just fine, why?

The only time I get triggered by GG EZ is in Starcraft 2. Good god I hate the Zerg as a Protoss main Angy

Or it’s just a dumb take that blizz “want players to be toxic”, because that will encourage players to leave the game because of the toxic morons, resulting in a financial hit to the company thanks to a bleeding playerbase. Players aren’t that dumb anymore believe it or not, we’ve had it up to here which is why the big ones are suffering big time now because people don’t put up with their crap.

I’ve used in both sets of circumstances. If we lose a close game I say GG as it was a good game and close, and it’s not sarcastic.

Normally I find the people who are getting hard carried by their team, and have had no impact during the whole game are the ones who type GG EZ-some with the people who are intentionally losing as well/smurfs.

If this was the case overwatch would be completely dead. It’s one of the most toxic games in existance.

I have tried valorant it isn’t nearly as toxic. Makes no sense why it would be when it’s far less team dependant and you individuals have massive carry potential.

I’ve had to put up with far more homophobic/racist and other abuse in one game of Val than I have in 4/5 games of OW. It’s pathetic that sort of people exist in any game.
