Okay this is a pretty useless question but why is D.va called Baby D.va when out of her mech?
She’s small.
That’s it.
Ok fair enough. That makes sense
As it is written, so it shall be…
Because who is Hana Song ? D.va has no lore and didn’t even use her name in her cinematic
Because the Mecha is the Mother and when threatened with the prospect of death will eject it’s unborn to increase it’s chance at survival to propagate the species.
I love your reasoning. I will use this from now on.
I cant wait till the workshop release character model size changes so we can make baby DVA even more smol
Yes, we need Ant size overwatch. Cap the point and you’ve just won the game
Because it was used to designated that she was unmeched, and “Baby D.Va” was easier and faster to say “Unmeched D.Va”. Just saying “D.Va” is the Call out for a Meched one. This stemmed out from a time when people actually always used Comms in game.
Daehyun did
Actually its named Pilot D.Va
Cause it’s a cute name.
People call her baby d.va. idk anyone who says pilot d.va (unless you do then no offense)
on that note, its also wrong.
its pilot dva, not baby dva
Because calling her “zero suit dva” was too long so they decided to name her “baby dva” by saying she’s in her small vulnerable state where she can get staggered
Because she’s tiny and needs to get into her mama mech’s pouch. But she can’t do that without your protection.
Easy to say.
It’s like calling moira’s healing “piss” or “juice”
I say pilot D.Va because calling a 19 year old baby is kinda weird idk
Because it’s easy to say and descriptive.
