Why is Canada non existent in overwatch

It has no sprays, voice lines or even a map for Canada. Can we at least have a Canadian player icon :frowning:

What’s the heck is Canada?

Because there isn’t a Canadian hero or map yet, and apparently your country makes it a bit too hard for Blizzard to put The Flag as an icon, or something like that.

Sigh.
Pharah is half-native Canadian, half Egyptian. Her skins even reflect that.

I bet that in the lore the US has invaded both Canada and Mexico

The Omnics destroyed it.

Nope, pharah and her father were watching Canadian hockey so it exists.

“BLAME CANADA, BLAME CANADA!
With all their beady little ey–” Ah, sorry.

Could not resist a South Park reference.

How do you know it wasn’t American hockey

Because it clearly shows the Canadian flag

Murica! Just kidding love Canada!

Natives in Canada are treated as their own little sovereign nations, so she is not even half Canadian

Because it gave us xqc.

I still want a player icon for Canada in summer games

I mean yeah one tiny flag in the corner but that could have meant anything. I was under the impression the omnic sank Canada into the sea during the crisis, and it’s population went through a diaspora across the world, incidentally leading pharahs parents to meet. This is all basic lore here.

Why is Denmark non existent? Why is Finland non existent? Why is Argentina non existent? Because they just haven’t shown it yet. Except for in Canada’s case, they actually have, through Pharah.

I wish Bliz would just release a ton of flags that you can purchase with coin but do not show up in loot boxes

Be careful what you wish for, they might give you a french canadian.

Given that there is a flag, Canada still exists. Home is where the heart is and if it’s on a desecrated stretch of land, we’ll still be there.

Also sinking the the second largest country would be impressive
