Summary

Inspire (Passive)

  • Healing amount increased from 100 to 130
  • Self-healing from Inspire is now halved

Repair Pack

  • Now has 3 charges
  • Healing amount changed from 150 to 120
  • Now heals over 2 seconds instead of instantly
  • If you throw multiple packs at the same person, the current duration will be extended by 2 seconds

Whip Shot

  • Out-going velocity increased from 60 to 80
  • Retracting time reduced from 0.6 seconds to 0.3

Barrier Shield

  • Barrier health reduced from 500 to 200

Shield Bash

  • Stun duration reduced from 0.9 seconds to 0.75

Rally

  • Ultimate cost increased 10%

Jeff said in the developer update that she’s currently a detriment in 2 2 2 situations and that she’ll need heavy changes to be viable when there’s only 2 supports but these changes just make her an inspire bot who’s survivability is actually worse than on the live servers.

Literally the only buff she got was inspire healing going from 100 to 130 but it’s met with Brigitte’s own inspire heal on herself behind HALVED to 60 and her shield being reduced more than HALF.

Edit: whip shot also got straight buffed but the nerfs still don’t help her as a support in 2 2 2

Honestly, that shield is laughable. That takes less than a clip to break at this point. It offers incredibly little survivability while also messing with her close-range options, which activates her self-heal.

I think they’re going to have to do some tuning on this. On paper, I can understand the idea. But that little survivability, paired with reducing her close-range survivability seems poor.

Did you miss her repair pack now having 3 charges? What about the fact whip shot is bothuch faster in terms of animation and how quickly it reaches its target?

I will agree some of this is overkill (cough 200 hp shield cough) but we’ll have to see how it plays out

I like the fact that they transferred her power from her survivability to her healing, but I think it’s a bit too extreme.

We’ll see when we’ll properly be able to test her out.

It also isn’t an instant burst heal anymore and was reduced so it isn’t a straight buff. Non-tank targets will die before you get the second charge off

There were some buffs and nerfs but generally I think it was a buff. I’m excited to try her out and try how it feels to play her now!

It’s not nerf per say. It’s just changing her from frontline support to backline support. Throw healthpacks, catch flankers, don’t tank instead of Rein

Its 60 hps for 8 seconds on a single target plus the 21 hps from her passive, she can literally heal 81 hps on a single target yes its not instant now but its also a lot more flexible in terms of use

Is this for real? They said she’s gonna be weak in the new 2-2-2 role queue and they nerf her like this?

Who cares? The instant burst healing of Repair Pack was what made it good, now it’s basically a Mercy beam with a cooldown. And the rest of her kit is pretty much useless since she’s going to die as soon as she gets in range to use it with this survivability. So be a worse Mercy from range, or be dead. What a joke.

Which could also be a nerf. No more burst heal. It’s now HPS. Could, I stress, it does have three charges so we’ll see.

Repair pack works best to peel for heroes that are out of range of your other supports. Inspire shouldn’t be factored into that

Six seconds. Repair Pack works over two seconds, and you have three charges.

She basically is healing at a comparable amount to Ana (for six seconds), but with the caveats of cooldowns and melee proc.

That’s not a nerf it’s a rebalance.

With only 2 tanks and supports, they want to emphasize her support nature while not making her a third tank. Thus, better healing but lower individual survivability. I agree that the shield reduction is a bit too drastic, but I approve of the ideas they’re going with here.

I mean it seems like they slightly upped her healing at the cost of hammering her survivability.

Yes too good and thus too hard to balance, its still a powerful burst heal its just not as powerful as before, and it also allows greater flexibility on brigitte’s part meaning less downtime on her healing

Which can still overheal and can create 80 hps on a single target in conjuction with her passive

Yeah I like I said the shield nerf might be overkill but again we’ll have to wait and see

It might end up that way but I think the greater flexibility in its use is better than the instant burst

8 seconds they didnt increase the cooldown meaning each charge has a 6 second cooldown after the first 3 wear off (a 6 second duration) you can throw out another one instantly for another 2 seconds

So you agree her healing is weaker if the burst healing was too strong… but then they gave her nothing but nerfs besides. Why? She needed buffs overall, not healing and survivability nerfs. This is not a good change.
