Unfortunately the live action did not flop in the slightest and ATLA is still extremely culturally relevant.

ATLA is one of the greatest animated products of all time. It’s that one of a kind sorta deal that defines the genre for the next years to come, and never stops being relevant.
Not so different from the Cowboy Bebop coolab, a series that aired in the late 90s.
That said, Nickelodeon seems to be investing quite a bit lately in the IP, with rumors of a new animated series coming in 2026.

I remember someone wanted a Gurren Lagann collab. I don’t know what that is.
Meanwhile ATLA, i know it very well and i basically grew up with it. Shame im not going to buy the collab skins because how underwhelming it is.
Made during the golden era of Nickelodeon imo.

Because it has deeper attention-to-detail than RDR2, and there is no saying that lightly! It’s been a full generation since it aired, but people are STILL discovering new details and theories about the show!
It was just a month or two ago the community discovered that the next avatar always looks like the current avatar’s soulmate. Beautiful little discoveries like that keep the community alive and well. It’s a beautiful thing!
ATLA won a PEABODY AWARD for public service value. It is not a normal day when a TV show receives academic recognition beyond an entertainment award show like Oscars or Emmys.
The Netflix adaptation “flopped” because they were trying to recreate lightning in a bottle, a 9/10 is still an outrage to fans in contrast to what the animated show brought to the table.
This is Nickelodeon’s Star Wars, and they were wise to accept that…

I loved this theory and it did hold up,but it’s going to get debunked if the recent leaks about the next show are real
I was one of the people who suggested that. 
To be honest the show sucks, but it would make for great Venture, Widow and D.Va skins.
It also got a netflix series recently. Same with Avatar. Same with Transformers…
Yet no one punch man netflix series that I know about 
For real!
