So I really don’t like 2-2-2. I think it’s uneccasarry and something that would take alot of fun out of the game.
So I play alot of mercy, so recently my favorite and best comp to be playing with is a quad dps comp with a hammond that I play with random LFG user’s (this is an altrenate account so it means nothing here because all my time is on sym). I keep track of alot of stats. I use my personally made spreadsheet to specifically record my winrates while playing certain comps and while playing with certain hero’s.
So anyways I play with quad dps comps very often and it really seems like something that other games can’t offer, the ability to use a comp very diffrent from the norm but still do well. Like you don’t see the amount of strange things that happen in overwatch being done in other E-sports, and its because overwatch allows it. I keep getting sidetracked sorry, anyways I play alot of mercy in unorganized comps with random players, currently, my winrate with quad dps comps, with mercy, averages around 65%.
I don’t think I’ve seen any other team based game where you can do things like this and get away with it. Like there are very few games that allow for dynamic team comps to be used and actually have them WORK.
I feel like when you take away the ability to use those team comps your taking away why I bought the game.
I only bought overwatch because of the amount of diffrent team comps and stratagys you can use and getting rid of many of them just takes the fun out of the game for me.
I predict a massive queue, which will lead to mass player migration away from Blizz, and Blizzard is forced to shut down because of lack of paying customers.
Also, most of the folks that I see supporting 2-2-2 seem to have a narrow viewpoint and have trollish BTags.
If you are so proud of your 65% win rate as mercy on a quand dps comp Then why you profile is private!!!. Why not public so we can all see how awesome you are ?

Well first this is an alternate account… my main account is HeX#12949, I dont post on it because people recognized me on the fourms or from the fourms.
Also my mercy winrate is only 65% in quad dps comps. my general winrate is 60%(i think)
If it comes to comp id bet on it coming to qp, just like hero limits eventually did. If we do get 2/2/2. heroes would need balance changes based on the new structure. While no longer having to worry about 3+ tanks or 3+ supports being played there would be different balance. If qp didnt get locked roles, it could be quite the unbalanced mess. Plus if anything qp is the place where people care less to even make decent comps, and it seems one of the main points of 2/2/2 is to have better team comps. Maybe they would do the same as no limits, and put a not locked 2/2/2 into the arcade. Just speculation anyways.
