If we were still on Mercy 1.0, would you call adding an e ability and nothing else a rework?

I would consider adding an E ability, making 4 big changes to Resurrect, and modifying a passive ability a rework.

Also, you are contradicting yourself now:

You can call it whatever you want, but this is a revert regardless of how much you deny it. Putting mass res back on ult is a revert. You just have some other changes to go with it.

Please state where you said res gets a bonus function because the only bonus function I saw was add los.

Yes, res is pretty powerful. But it sounds like you never played Mercy before she had invuln on mass res, because before that change, she was considered trash tier. It wasn’t until after that happened did she become good. We’ve been there before, and you want to throw additional nerfs, in the form of los, on top of what was considered bad, making it worse. Sounds like bad juju to me.

i’m confused. how can it be hitscan and projectile at the same time? if it’s hitscan there shouldn’t be animation on it’s bullet since it hits the enemy instantaneously and there would be no travel time

Look at Soldier:76’s weapon animation. Notice how you can see these blue streaks in the air despite the travel time being instant?

It’s the same thing with this ability. You don’t actually see the projectile moving through the air (that’s “projectile” as in an attack, not a weapon type), but those visuals are left behind showing the space where the hitscan passed through.

You know I don’t even play Mercy yet I feel bad for Mercy mains considering how much Blizzard screwed Mercy up. I hope that they may eventually listen but the really cynical part of me doubts it.
