there is no way blizzard reads this stuff or is listening to the ideas or complaints or this game would be way different from what it is now, which is a mess lets be honest.
To put all complaints in one bucket so Blizzard can ignore them.
Good God, if they listened to me D.Va would be stage XVII cancer. ![]()
In many ways, I am glad they don’t HEAVILY listen to the forums. There’s a lot of noise and super bias here.
However… it is sad they don’t seem to listen to it at all.
As mna said though, this is their black hole.
They throw everyone here (no really… customer service says to come here and complain) so instead of yelling at them, we’ll yell into the void or at each other.
You know, having worked in customer retention (not for blizzard), I’ve gotta say this phrasing is so much funnier than you had in mind.
From the business end of it, there’s seriously nothing more relaxing and assuring than that image.
Nonetheless, it is a cold system, but I think a lot of people have learned from their time in this void of apathy. I know I have.
they only read the notorious and the intriguingly thought provoking.
Is that when the cancer goes to the doctors office and asks the doctor what this strange growth is, and the doctor tells them it looks like they have a benign human?
Do they need to read it in order for it to constitute a centralized community forum set around a game?
At the rate the constructive feedback fell off, why should they listen anyway?
Comunity.

Oh believe me… I am aware =]
I’m just here to talk to my fellow pit dwellers now
Kinda same. I’ve gotten pretty attached to some of these guys after I calmed the hell down. lol
Wow. That’s 2 more stages than this forum! Impressive.
I don’t post here expecting Blizzard to take what I say and change the game accordingly. I just come here to talk about Overwatch in general and that’s okay.
One of us. One of us.
It gives me something to do in these trying times. I usually use it to mitigate my insomnia, but I am bed ridden right now and, to be honest, it is barely helping. I wish there were some more interesting topics over the constant whining.
I trust a handful of chums here to be decent enough people if we’d wanna form a sort of “closed public” group on discord or something. Like, a non-forum place for trustworthy forum users.
I know you and some others have beef with discord, but there are all kinds of errors with battlenet, aaaaand Steam groups… I mean, who actually uses those?
Anywho, rules would be different from the forum itself. I run another “closed public” discord server that’s been around for a few years. It’s only experienced one conflict so far, and both parties from that conflict have since come to good terms. The rules are pretty effective.
Just a thought. It would stray quite well from the whiny topics without really getting into any of the drama discord is known to invoke.
Oh they do, but like the community is so scattered. Most people are highly bias to a handfull of heroes, maps game modes. And play different gamemodes at different ranks which changes the context of said balance.
Also they are not remotely game designers. Have zero way to compensate their ideas with content that has yet to be released or will be releasing within the next year or so.
Making a lot of the feed back simply not usable, or reliable.
Like you can get an idea of what the community overal is looking for. But you can’t really act on the thousands of different demands, that are trying to solve issues in ways that would mostly benefit themselves then the game as a whole.
Making even good feedback hard to find.
except we have seen that they do listen
listening and reacting are two different things
