It´s from summer games. Quite a lot of time till than. Also skin used to go back during anniversary too - also far away.

they are usually still for purchase though like the alternate version of d.va’s academy skin can be purchased

Idk. I have all skins from OW1, but Diva academy alternative was released year ago during those “pseudo - anniversary” events, that replaced normal events (like archives, that should have been now).
And tbh, this shop is very random with old event skins, but I would count with anniversary or summer event time.

you can still buy then from the character screen though they changed alot of things in updates

This. Open up DVa’s page in the Hero Gallery and all the OW1 skins should be listed for purchase with credits. If it’s not in the list, then it’s been reserved for use in one of the upcoming special events and will be given out either for completing event challenges, or for viewbotting Twitch streamers for drops.

…or in shop, as many other old skins from event already appeared.

i already refuse to watch stupid owl

You could just do something else and still be ‘tuned in’.

Yes, but in the shop they’re being offered for only for OWCoins – I think – while in the Hero Gallery all old skins are listed for sale for OWcredits, i.e. legacy currency, which we get for free. All the old skins, unless they have been earmarked for use in special events, that is.

I said “viewbot”, which means that you don’t have to actually watch it. Also, this isn’t about OWL tokens, but Twitch drops. If you don’t wish to do either out of some kind of principle, sure; you do you.

Ok. I´ve noticed many people here complained about OW1 old skins from events being sold for shop coins. As I say - I own everything, so I really don´t know, how they can be purchased, I just know I see them often in shop. :woman_shrugging:
But if you normaly can´t buy them and than they become avalible in shop for paid coins and you can´t choose old credits, unless you go into the hero gallery - that seems pretty scammy to me. I would not even think of going into a gallery to use old credits, if I seen them in shop for coins - just would never thought there is that option.

The bootie shorts are too powerful, you cant leave that in the hands of the general public.

i think its a wonderful skin im not paying attention to her booty and technically she is of legal age so it shouldnt matter if people do eye ball her though if she was underage that would be a problem

Yeah, it’s pretty much like that. I’m missing exactly three old skins – from the very last Summer Games event – and I get them offered to me constantly in the shop for coins, but I can also go into the Hero Gallery and pick them up for credits at any time. There are certain old skins that are not in the gallery, nor are they in the shop. These skins, most likely, have been earmarked to be given out during the upcoming special events; like the Sledding DVa, which was awarded as a drop for 6 hours of watching Twitch streams during the last Christmas event.

i have more legacy credits than ow2 creds i think but i wont be able to really check till i login tomorrow to check

I thought they changed it to where you could buy them from the hero gallery whenever you want?

they did except for skins that was part of the season pass but it seems i cant get the wave racer skin for whatever reason

OP, in case you haven’t seen it yet, the Waveracer skin is being given away as part of a Prime Gaming – part of Amazon Prime membership benefits – promotion.
