Why give PoG to the losing side?

It doesn’t do anything for either side. It annoys the winners and is pointless for the losers. You lost. Your play of the game was useless.

Everyone knows if your team gets POTG then you actually win

POTG is about showcasing the individual player who got the most fire in a short time frame in the match. It isn’t about a victory lap for the winners. It’s completely possible for the best individual player to be on the losing team and for them to have had the most impact as an individual on the game. It’s also possible for the best and most impactful play to be from the losing side.

If you’re regularly excluded from POTG, play a hero more likely to get it or get better at kill securing so that you too can get it.

I got PoG. But its annoying to see it when you lost. It just pisses me off. Like oh look at that. Kill the whole team and what do we do? Nothing…

Then leave before the POTG shows up, you won’t get penalized

They let you leave without penalty, you don’t have to watch potg. And you are wrong, everyone has their own opinions on it, everyone doesn’t hate it. I stay and watch it most of the time to see a good play

This is something people care about?

Just because you lost, that doesn’t mean you did poorly.
It’s like when people judge a meal - just because there was a winner it doesn’t mean the other dishes were awful.

  1. Leave before
  2. Realize it’s just a game clip and maybe don’t get that tilted.

It’s not exactly flattering for the other 11 tho, when apparently nobody was able to top something like this.

12% damage so that wasn’t even a proper kill!

Anyway, the hero that i’ve had the most POTG’s with for the amount of time played would probably be Bastion. Try maining him for a while if you want your highlight on the end screen.

Because sometimes even when you win, you win like an absolute chump.
