Supposedly marketed and supposedly pandered to a very specific audience.
Personally i dont like her because she comes off as very forced. Speaks perfect english in an american accent yet when she does speak japanese, not only is it perfect aswell she also shrinks her voice? Idk its weird to me
Compared to Hanzo and genji anyway(especially genji in his english lines)

I didnāt like her and despised everything about her but after playing her for some time she is growing on me down to the cringe voice lines.

I donāt. I love her! Sheās so much fun to play! Iām doing around 10k heals a match (gotten up to 15k a few times) while still managing to help with damage as well as cleanse.
And her ult is awesome! Itās helped win so many team fights!

I really donāt get the hate either? Like yeah get that you can dislike the character because of the gameplay and such but also outside? Like being mean to her and saying sheās cringe and everything like???
I get you can dislike her but hate?? Thatās just too much imo, and why pay so much attention to someone you hate?? Like we get it, move on with your life.

Thatās because they took notes from their silly ādiversityā chart and made her a tough girl because you know, soft nice girls are looked down on in Western culture right now as tools of the Patriarchy nonsense.
I like to think they are not so bad now they canāt do the ātough girl outside, soft insideā approach which fits the character. All ages have their intellectually lazy excesses, we are seeing this right now on the gender front in portrayals.
