not gonna say Hanzo isn’t strong on this patch but… if you fly straight to your target and have matrix out all the time… how do you expect not to lose that duel?
you have a predictable path and everyone knows that matrix has a downtime after you use it, if I see you wasting it while flying towards me, I’ll wait until you turn it off and then make you a needle cushion pin with storm arrow
Matrix is a reactive skill not a proactive one, you know it takes hanzo 0.7 seconds to fire an arrow that would deal full damage, why are you holding matrix until it runs out BEFORE you reach him? furthermore, why are you flying towards him when he has perfect sight of you? where is your positioning strategy? surprise him from behind at least, your mobility isn’t there to fly like a moth to a flame
I truly believe (and hope) that we got a DPS overhaul similar to the tank Overhaul

Ashe is no problem. The problem is shields now breaking even faster and with this your supports are going to die faster as well thanks to high burst damage and one shots.
Hanzo can do all of that from all ranges plus mobility. He is a better Soldier, he is a better McCree, he even is a better Reaper. And that says something at a time where Reaper is considered one of the strongest dps.
D.va is the worst hero in the game right now that provides nothing useful for your team.
DM is so overnerfed that cannot save anyone anymore and her damage is so random and RNG that D.va pistol is OP vs the Meka.
So Blizzard or you give D.va a big buff to her damage (Like Zarya/Road) and allows her to work as a glass cannon or your buff her DM/Meka and give her a passive that allows her to stay for more than 2 seconds outside of a wall/shield and don’t get demech instantly.
Either you’re too emotional and straight up ignoring old patch notes from this year, or you’re just very delusional.

Developer Comments: After reducing armor’s effectiveness for all heroes, Fan the Hammer doesn’t need to deal quite as much damage. Increasing Deadeye’s damage after being locked on for a bit makes it more effective when attacking high health, static targets (like barriers) and heroes with over 250 health. It will not impact how dangerous this is for heroes under 250 health.

I’m Not saying that the nerfs addressed the “issues” and made the game a lot more balanced, but this was not the point I was trying to make.

I got a permanent ban - yes, a perma ban for saying I’m not interested in watching OWL.
The only reason I’m still able to post here is because I was able to make a case that the ban is completely out of line and unreasonable.
Blizzard ARE that draconian, but only on the OW forums, and not for any other of their games… all in a vain attempt to fight toxcitity.
Oh, it’s been obvious a long time ago. They just do whatever OWL and top 500 say is OP, broken or not picked (that’s why Mei got underserved pierce on primary fire). And now they’re all gone to be “busy” with DLC horde mode, A.K.A. Overwatch 2, and only guys making event skins are left.
I’ve always said the Overwatch team don’t even play the game. I run a game earlier they had a Hanzo which dominated the game I don’t think my team is bad he’s ridiculously overpowered and has a huge hitbox honeslty I can’t do my job as Dva when there is a Hanzo not only Dva I tried playing support as Brig and tried to counter the Hanzo with shield dancing but I couldn’t my shield went out with 1 arrow shot and finshing me off with storm arrows. In the end like you said it’s all about who have the best sniper otherwise you lose. Thank you for making this thread I hope the Overwatch team will listen to you it’s time for putting an end to Hanzo
They have a pretty incompetent balance team. They literally deleted the entire kit of one of their original characters.
They make terrible sledgehammer changes that just cause more problems.
Is it really fair to call Dva a dive tank? She was ingolves in more metas than any other hero in overwatch. I do t think she is limited to just a dive tank.
What makes it sad, is that they take their time to collect statistics, ask pro players…and still manage to screw up.
Very pointless attempt. When results of game depend, mostly, on how good your team is, toxicity will only grow.
Specify, which healers. Most supports can’t sustain teammate with current levels of damage.
And even if you nerf healers, snipers won’t quit - why give enemy a chance to escape you and get healed, when you can kill them with 1 hit and give them none?

Trust me, they are not!. They know exactly what they are doing.
DVa’s crit zone is huge and center mass on her hit box. This displays a fundamental misunderstanding of the conceptual reason that headshots do extra damage (IE: Risk vs Reward). Yes. They have shown that sometimes they are absolutely clueless.
Comparing her to Hammond is not even funny. One tank seems to have been designed to have one hand tied behind their back with constant hobbles and drawbacks and the second one seems to have been designed with the ethos of “What were we even worried about?”.
Actually, I think there is some logic behind most changes - they either buff and nerf something people never complain about in the first place, or they sledgehammer heroes’ core abilities/character-defining traits. Inspire buffs, Hack nerfs, Fortify buffs, Torb’s right-click damage nerf, Moira’s heal nerf (the least reasonable nerf in the game) and so on. And of course their games tend to become absolutely broken, since they design things for a purpose and completely gut it in favor of minor secondary concept.
I personally think dva is just boring to play, a big revamp of the class could help a lot!
