Any game that requires team work to win SHOULD have LFG feature. For as much money as we’re all pumping into this game I would expect more quality.

Idk what gives you that idea. The game isn’t making any money. All the focus is on skins and they are cutting corners left and right.
I’d say they won’t reintroduce it 'cause if people accidentally land on cheaters through Overwatch’s LFG feature, they’ll logically blame it on Blizzard for getting a ban and it would put devs in a sticky situation…
So I guess it’s safer for them to simply not implement this old feature back to the game since they’re unable to catch all the cheaters and would definitely not want some dishonest players to state “I didn’t know those people in LFG were cheaters, it’s your fault Blizzard, unban me”.
TLDR : It would take too much moderation on the devs’ part and they simply can’t / won’t commit to it, especially for Overwatch which is a 8-year old game after all.
All that matters is selling those BPs, Mythics coins and weekly skins.
That’s the game we let Overwatch turn into after all. We’re part of the problem for not reacting louder when Overwatch 2 got officially canceled last year. We basically gave Blizzard a free pass for messing with us.
I get your point but we meet plenty of people in our games. You ever group with any of them?
We had LFG even during role que.
Is there really anybody that would risk grouping up with random players not knowing if they have cheats on… ? Let’s not forget Overwatch now bans people who play with cheaters, no matter if they knew about it or not.
Yeah and it never had any groups for ranked outside throw groups.
Yea that’s reasonable. PC master race problems I guess.
Lowly Xbox player here and I prefer to solo. Makes me feel cool.

Oh yeah, true, I forgot some console players still do play Overwatch lol…
But I think there are cheaters there too, no ?
They ban only consistent grouping with cheaters though.

I must be mistaken. I heard PC players complain about cheating.
Cheating is an issue (not like consoles doesn’t have their share of cheaters) but not accidentally getting banned for grouping with a cheater.

untrue, i had lots of great games from LFG, the best ever
I always found LFG not ever worth the time or effort. Spend 5+ minutes waiting for someone to finish AFK’ing, play a game. If you lose, everyone leaves without a word.
Then idk where you find these games because for the last few years of LFG, every time when I checked it, the only matches available were for QP.
