Why doesn't sigma float like mercy and echo?

I mean the dude literally has control over black holes and gravity so shouldn’t he be able to float slowly downward after a jump/fall/ult?

I’ve thought about this too. It would be really cool if he could fly at an even slower rate (vertical and horizontal both) than his walking speed.

Why should so many heroes copy Mercy’s passive?

Echo having the same passive in better with a 50% speed bonus is sad enough.

I mean he literally controls gravity so I doubt he would like to fall like what 20 feet fast and hard Everytime he does his ult (he is a old man you know those bones are fragile) also I wouldn’t say it is copying mercy more like improving

Gameplay restrictions

Same reason as Zenyatta, I guess.

Technically its a Ability, not a passive

It’s a passive ability.

Mercy’s passive is better. Echos just falls much faster.

Why should mercy have her passive copy and pasted on so many heroes?

No, it’s technically an ability, as you have to hold Space Bar for it to work, unlike regular passives that, as their namez says, takes effect without doing anything

Yes but it is a passive ability.

It is listed as one too, right?

I know it is technically a regular abilty, but isn’t it the same for Pharah? Or Echo?

They are some kind of active passive ability lmao.

Yes that’s basically what I meant with the technically lol

It’s not, actually, it’s listed as a regular ability tied to spacebar

It wouldn’t really benefit him much, Sigma has no way to propel himself upwards outside of Flux and can’t reliably block damage for his team from that angle. He has no reason to stay up in the air.

Sigma just needs more gravity-focused stuff in general.
