Why doesnt experimental mode have...?

Why doesn’t experimental mode have a list of the “experiments” on the splash page as you join that mode of play?

(I haven’t played it as a tank, is the info even available there?)

There is the patch notes for experimental specifically but not sure where it is. Probably somewhere on the forums. As for joining that mode, the queue might be long given how many people are even willing to play it. Not to mention the mode is intended for testing.

As nice as it would be for some to have 132 to at least be available for arcade the experimental mode might pile up if always avalible.

Yeah i saw the patch notes. Then promptly forgot about it and played quick play for a few days, then remembered that experimental existed and couldnt recall what notes said. It’d be ncie if there was summary in the splash page instead of expecting us to have seen some notes that dropped severaldays ago or to remember them.

If you press the info button it gives I believe a link to the notes about what the changes are last I checked

Honestly, I wished that all patch notes were readable within Overwatch.

Most of it was all the tanks are buffed and had more armor than HP. Rein had more hammer dmg, Dva has more DM, Hog has AOE breather with dmg reduction, Zarya has multibubbles.

Really, truly, totally the same.

Im sure that people who play Overwatch with … professionalism or zealotry can remember everything but a good chunk of us have other things going on. (My kid’s recent surgery and me currently being a wee bit obsessed with playing the game Bloodborne, for example.)

Having the info prominently displayed on a related menu would just make sense.

Because the point was to test queue times. That doesnt work if you split the community further between different experiments.

That and the F1 to the Hero’s abilities. . . it expects people to check the wiki for the dmg numbers instead of within the game itself.

I usually go to YT for patch notes but I know not everyone has the time so they have to try it in game and wonder what happened to their preferred hero.

Hope your kid is doing okay tho

Kid is great, and we’re lucky to have good insurance so we don’t have to stress over the finances because of all of the kid’s surgeries.
