I mean, its the only sniper in game, when she had 175 health it was kinda anoying i mean now with 200 is twice anoying, its literally sad trying to play caracters like, any tank, junk cass, zen, mercy and i can keep naming characters, is sooo boring playing against widows, idunno what happend but i just played 8 matches 6 qp and 2 competitives and literally on 8 games i encountered a widow, its a really boring hero to play against, i does not matter if u have a Winton or a Genji widow can really just leave away or have a pocket

I dont consider hanzo as an actual sniper, i think is two times easier to land shots as a widow then a hanzo talking in long distances, one its a histcan and the other projectiles
perhaps hanzo is very more mobile and fun to play you dont just sit there waiting to a headshot
Because every game needs an anti-fun mechanic.
Especially in a team based game we need a anti teamplayer class.
Why that hero is buffed in a non shield game and with 5vs5 is beyond me. Blizz logic

Well i meet pharah in like every of my games and its annoying
ook…and maybe it can surprise you than in a fps there are different types of dps characters including sniper? 
just ask for a reset from 200hp to 175hp, doesn’t seem that hard to me instead of whipping up all this philosophy about what a sniper does in any fps game and why after SIX years widow has magically become such a much talked about issue.

You’re actually close. In a game full of team play, its smart to have a character with more solo carry ability.
its also smart to have a character for higher skill players.
Now, these are all smart game design choices, but since this is Overwatch, you guys want to drop all the good ideas like a bad habit.

No, we just don’t agree with you that your ideas are good. I won’t go into specifics because speaking with you gives me a headache at the best of times, but you like to make every disagreement with you a lack of skill or intellect on the part of the person who doesn’t share the same view as you.
I’m not going to pretend your idea of what the game should be is good, because they tried that and the game failed. Your way failed. It’s time to try new ways.

Her purpose is just like Hanzo, Ashe, and heck, even Hog tbh. She’s a position check, her entire purpose is to make sure you don’t get careless. The issue is that she was designed with 2 tanks in mind, so one could pressure her while the other helps the frontline. Now there’s only 1 tank, so your tank has to choose between saving their team from being clicked or holding/taking space on the objective.
I’ve seen the many posts from people supporting 5v5, but it’s incredibly obvious that 5v5 was both a kneejerk reaction to a growing problem as well as it was a last second decision with no more thought put into it than a brown paper bag. They buffed all of the tanks to make them brawlers and did absolutely nothing to DPS and Supports which offset the power balance.
So that’s why heroes like Widow and Ashe seem so strong lately.

I mean the game has different roles and weapons in the game, so ofc we need a sniper.
Personally i don’t mind having widow in the game, sure she can be really annoying to play against but i rather die to a widow than hanzo 
Ashe is not a sniper, she’s been in the game since 2018 and ppl still believe this??
She’s like middle range with her scope and it also has fall off dmg.

To kill the game for everyone but her players :
Hanzo is not consistent at long ranges unless you are literally standing still. Hanzo’s strength’s are at close to mid range. The fact he’s a single fire projectile makes it easy for players to kill him so its a 50/50 matchup regardless of who you are playing. Widow has no real weakness right now with all the flankers getting nerfed and her 200 hp. Genji cant touch her because he got nerfed pretty bad, tracer might help but a mercy pocket means a one shot body from widow so that wont help, sombra got nerfed so that also doesn’t work. Widow can only currently be killed by sojourn, another widow, a hanzo shooting at a widow standing still or pure spam luck or anyone that somehow managed to close the gap by pure miracle. A good widow is untouchable, they will see you or hear you coming. It takes a massive team effort to take down a widow right now and in a game where you play with random strangers, that teamwork doesn’t exist.

He can block her and harrass her a bit but hog currently exist so going winston means you are gonna feed the hog.

Unless you’re playing against master-and-above one-trick Widows, and you are getting constantly sniped, it’s a skill issue. Your positioning sucks, and your team coordination sucks. I’m sorry, its a YOU issue, not a Widow issue.
Snipers are an integral part of FPS, and people are just salty babies that find the “oneshots bad” wave that has come along with Roadhog being OP, as a vehicle to launch an attack on a character, that because the complainers are objectively bad players, they now see as an issue, greater than anything in the whole world.
PS: Zen main. One of the characters that easily falls prey to Widow.
Unless ALL oneshots, and potential oneshots are removed, we have a no-deal. Rip-tire, DVA bomb, Orisa ult, Genji Ult (nano) etc.
You guys are advicating against One-Shots like it’s worse than Hitler. If snipers can’t have oneshots, no one can. Stop being babies.
