It’s really weird since like every other character with a similar ability does. McCree rolls to reload, Reaper reloads when he goes wraith, but Tracer doesn’t…
Mei doesn’t either, Iceblock doesn’t reload.
Auto reloading isn’t a given, Reaper and McCree was given theirs at separate times as specific buffs. In Tracers case however, it would make sense for her ammo to revert to what it was.
It does make sense to ask though, unless you knew they were specific cases, where the dev team wanted to buff them, then it LOOKS like a general rule. But it is really a 50%/50% mix of auto reload and not.

i’ve usually already reloaded when i use recall to reposition on someone and fire on them immediately

Reload with Roll is the only reason why it’s even a decent ability, they gave Reaper reload with wraith to try to make him stronger, and Tracer has the fastest reload in the game. She’s strong enough without it, even if it would make sense when comparing her to other dps
I think they were just saying it was weird she didn’t have it, and likely didn’t know the history of the other 2 heroes and how they changed over time, and didn’t know that other heroes with similar powers didn’t auto reload.
Coming in from cold, it makes perfect sense to think it was a little weird. They were not asking for a buff as such, they just noted, it was a little strange.
Edit: And, I don’t know why Tracer all that well, it seems she has it anyway.
Had to actually go into the game to check this despite the fact I knew otherwise

Idk, I’m not really asking for a buff, it’s just the game flow. I guess I’m just not good at reloading before recalling but sometimes you’re just in the heat of the moment and don’t notice you’ve used most of your ammo.
Huh… could’ve sworn she didn’t.
I just went into the training room, and checked, yep, she reloads alright.
It is weird how something can be in the game, but, even when you play a hero, it doesn’t seem like it.

I know after playing a lot of Tracer when I moved onto her I kept accidentally starting fights with less than half my clip left

I dunno, I don’t play Sombra. I guess it was just my imagination then. I play mostly Brig so I’m not used to reloading…
