No skin those will ever get the reaction that Kiriko witch did. Omg! Just the straight butthurt was well worth the money!
There’s plenty of people here who like the game. You probably just only really notice those who don’t. Especially because right now Blizzard is offering more fuel for complaints than they are for compliments.
I WANT to compliment Blizzard, but there isn’t alot of opportunity to do so right now.
Really the only hatred I hold towards this game is the deep hatred in my heart for Tracer’s shoes. I hope they burn in Hell.
Because the game is in an all-time awful state and needs help. And when people like you cheer on the mistakes that Blizzard makes and just keeps throwing your money at way overpriced skins, you support ruining my gaming experience and the game I paid for years ago.
The irony of getting annoyed at criticism for OW2 while making a salty vent thread yourself. Yeah, you definitely showed the haters. If you don’t like OW2 getting hated on then perhaps the devs could have made an actual good game instead of a downgrade? Then haters would actually get drowned out.
I enjoy the gameplay, but I’ve been vocal about my distaste for the shop prices. But luckily the shop is a completely optional part of the game.
Jealousy is maybe a factor. They played OW for such a long time an enjoyed it. Now with updates and changes… they just dont like the game, but they still have the habit of playing the game or coming here. So its not like they want to ruin the fun for others, but more that the game is not for them anymore.
Like you said there is no OW1 vs OW2. I still think “OW2” was a bad name. Its more like OW 2.0. We got all the content from the last 3 years at one go and people think its something else. If they had done the changes over time, maybe they would have adapted better, but right now they are more sad than anything else, that they cant enjoy the game anymore.
Also people need to understand that OW1 was build from a failed game and they had zero experience with such a game like OW. So a real life service game. Now we have a solid foundation, but people liked the “broken version”, because they knew it.
OW2 is more for new players than for the old and the old that cry… are disposable, because the new players just dont care. They know what the standard across the industry is. OW players have lived in a bubble for to long. It seems like most of them never branched out or had a mainly single player background. This was never the audience blizz wanted to attract.
Well no need to be childish.
What’s stopping you personally from having a rational dialogue about subjective thoughts on objective truths?
I was just stooping down on your reply’s level. No need to be salty about it

I was just stooping down on your reply’s level. No need to be salty about it.
That would be stepping up, not stooping down.
Good talk kiddo.
I hope you get a stronger prescription for your seething and coping problem lil bro
The toxic positivty of “this can do no wrong” really hinders on its advancements to becoming a competent gamr everyonr can enjoy.
Blizz has alienated its casual base and ignored so msny issues because esports and comp come first.
Which has trickled down to the casual scene and thusly hurting their most played gamemode.
They have even enforced toxic behaviors such as one tricking, false reporting whenever someone uses comms be it text or voice, allowing the creation of the most boring metas without so much as attempts to balance it, and then the year long drought of no content…but obviously “working” on OW2 which turned out to be just one big massive patch that mostly changed their monetary system for a complete overhaul while getting rid of lootboxes to continue preying on players across multiple countries.

. It seems like most of them never branched out or had a mainly single player background.
They made a FPS game for “non-FPS players” and then later on made the game more for FPS players.
That is what the disconnect is.
They went full out MOBA during GOATs and people didnt like that. Since then the balance of the game has shifted a bit in the other direction and people who wanted the game to be almost 100% moba got bitter about it.
That… is not issue here.
The problem with this thread is that you claimed that the minority who like OW2 are “attacked” by the majority that prefers OW1. But that is simply not the case, and it must be clarified. Otherwise you are just spreading misinformation.
That is not happening on the discussions out there. You can find a comment of mine on almost every recent 6v6 thread out there, and people who disagreed did not get constantly flagged nor harassed because of their opinion. They received less support, granted, but that is just a reflex of the minority and majority aspect.
I would ask that you edit this thread. It is the correct thing to do.
I mean, i’ve seen people called shills just for defending an aspect of the game the other didn’t like
happens enough
Just like many OW2 “defenders” were aggressive with their comments.
There will always be a few bad apples here and there, but it is nowhere near the level that OP claims it is.
They hate everyone, their hearts are just full of hatred.

What we have is Overwatch 2. People need to either accept that and play it or not accept that and move on to another game. There’s no sense in being constantly bitter about things that are not going to change.
With that attitude, yeah.
But I’ll point to something that completely debunks your points: Classic WoW.
Blizzard gave the same song and dance about Classic WoW. “It’s gone” “we don’t have the backups” “We couldn’t even if we wanted to” and players said the same as you “it’s gone and never coming back!” “accept the game as it is”
And guess what? A large amount of players didn’t listen to the bullcrap. They didn’t accept the game as it was. And Blizzard saw this and was able to restore Classic WoW. And it did well enough that they continued with more classic expansions + the current WoW expansion is more in-line with how Classic was. And guess what what? It’s being received better by players than the last several expansions.
The best case scenario here is for the game to keep bleeding players and Blizzard to finally wake up and bring back OW1. Don’t kid yourself, they fully can and will if the franchise dips enough.
Why this looks like its both ways tho… the hate for those who like and dislike this game seems to be shared in the groups.
The typical “if you dont like it, just accept it and move on, stop complaining” make it feel like it.
And for restoring OW1… most changes to restore would be… changing dmg and health numbers, make 6v6 mode for it, and it would already be something to be happy about for those who liked old game more… that dont need any back ups or old assets, and we know the numbers can be different for each mode already.

But I’ll point to something that completely debunks your points: Classic WoW.
Years and years later.
Ok, keep being bitter for the next 5 or 6 years.
And then once you realize OW 2 is not going away then what?
It’s been 7 months now and counting…
Stop ignoring the elephant in the room, surely you can see the problem of spreading misinformation.
