Why does Rein have ammo increase in Stadium?

it says its for his hammer like wtf? lol are most of these talents a joke? copy pasta/ generic?

i thought it would at least give him more fire strikes but nah.

Some abilities don’t work for everyone.
Like lifesteal on abilities for mercy. How is she going to lifesteal anything when using ga or rez when they don’t do dmg?

And ammo increase is useless for dva and orisa as well.

sounds like it was rushed then and needs to trim the fat until those talents are actually ready and do something, cringe bloat to make it look like there are more options than there actually are…

Unfortunately everything bar the hero specific upgrades in Blue or Purple tier is just copy paste. It would be nice if future updates replace options that have no use on certain heroes with similarly powered useable ones.
They’re rare but it just kinda feels bad to have flat less options to craft a build.

Just disable stuff that makes no sense for a hero.

The ability lifesteal makes no sense for kiriko either…

They’re just generic items all heroes have access to. You just skip over them. I will say that the “show affected abilities” thing that’s off by default (can’t remember the exact name but it’s at the bottom of the armory screen) is really helpful for this. It adds the exact ability to the item tooltip if it’s involved.

yeah i think i have that enabled although i dont remember clicking it thats how i know its for his hammer which doesn’t even have ammo or reload but next time im on ill look to make sure i absolutely have it selected

Yeah. I think it includes them even if they don’t benefit (like ammo for orisa’s fusion driver), though, but I’m not 100%. I just like it to familiarize myself better with the armory.

I’m talking hero specifics. There are definitely ammo increases across the rarities, but like the bottom 2 or 3 in the Blue and Purple are specifically for the hero you’re playing. Like D.Va has one that gives DM Beam resistance, Zarya has a range extension, Juno has one that gives her Torpedoes a lingering buff to healing recieved for friendlies ect.

Her attack is pretty strong. She can benefit from it.

Some of the abilities are generic that everybody can get and then some are for specific characters

There’s a weapon lifesteal item for her(which works and is quite useful) and an ability lifesteal item, which does absolutely nothing. Maybe if they eventually add something like TP’ing close to enemies also damages them, but nothing so far.

Ability life steal does not work with swift step.
And suzu does not do dmg, so no lifesteal either.

25% more ammo for D.Va cannons!

I am unsure if it works this way in overwatch, but:

In other blizzard titles, life steal or “leech” also works with healing. Id hope that works the same way in this game.

We’ll need to test it, but i really can’t see how an ability that doesn’t injure an enemy could leech life.

Not my place to call it, was just going off of what blizzard has done in the past.

Specifically, in WoW if you have leech, you leech some of the healing you give back to yourself

Tested in Training, you don’t leech health from healing with an ability, nor weapon. As Ana.
