I haven’t seen her get any QoL or balance patches in a very long time despite her being in an absolutely horrendous state, and no one seems to talk about her.

When is she at her most powerful and how do you play her into her strengths and weaknesses?
Girls have been quiet ever since Sombra took her spot of most curbstomped hero.
I don’t talk about her because I have an unpopular opinion. Sym is fine. Sym has mostly been fine for a long time. She has her maps where she’s a really solid choice and her matchups where she works well enough to be played outside of them. She’s a niche pick and she always will be unless you want to rework her again.
I love Sym. Any time she’s actually been weak I pray for buffs. I think the outcry over Sym being a throw pick has been mostly overblown by folks who don’t seem to understand that a hero can be niche and still be strong.
Plus all the Sym mains are too busy playing her in her new beautiful witch skin. 
You have 275hp and shields, an S tier ultimate, what else you want
Symmetra is actually fine overall.
She’s fine this is one of those “Echo chamber” things kinda like when people kept repeating “Cass’s ult is bad” over and over even tho it consistently got value.
Sym is fine as is and is also played very much against Dva and Orisa.
If Cass ultimate was good, he wouldn’t have a negative win rate all throughout overwatch.

Most of the time, any sort of Sym buffs get reverted a month down the line with an extra nerf on top. I can see why Syms don’t speak up; the devs might remember she exists. Then they’ll take away the +25 HP as well as making Sym beam start at level minus three just 'cos.
As someone who doesn’t play much Sym, I feel that Sym orbs kinda suck in terms of satisfaction. Compare them to Zen’s RMB. Zen charges up a mega attack and if he lands all of those orbs then the victim is reduced to a fine red mist. Sym charges up this mega attack and fires out a water balloon. Eh.
I like Sym, and i actually think she’s pretty decent.
I will say though, she feels very map and team comp reliant. which isnt necessarily a terrible thing.
OP you can start by watching this, it retrained me on how to play Symm.
Most of the buffs they give her just make her way too strong the maps she’s good on while not doing much outside that. These ball micro buffs don’t really do much, but on the maps he’s already amazing on he will stomp. Sym is just a hero that excels in coordinated play but fails in your average ranked game.
I remember you saying Kiriko was always broken despite both the data AND the devs saying she has been under preforming for a long while

And of the countless people that dont play her, relatively few like her.
Kiriko is broken, support players are just awful at the game. S tier ability suzu, S tier ultimate, good damage.
I’d say she’s harder to play now with Juno in every game giving everyone speed and Juno’s flying around was a big nerf to Kiriko and projectile heroes in general besides flying heroes
There used to be many, remeber golden globe days , even Keanu reaves mained her at one point.
She is another victim of owl like spy cam sombra.
Her powerbudget isocked in team taxi something that won’t work for 99% properly.
A lot of these heroes were built with voice interaction and stacking in mind like sym sombra mei then the issue is once they got hit a few times with nerfs or reworks , people started blaming them in vc the vital thing to make them work as designed often.
Imagine a team actually listened to a sombra in ow1 or planned and utilised sym taxis instead the moment these heroes opened their mouth people complained.
Same with hanzo or zen both gave wall hacks on demand.
Atleast both of them withstood any changes.
Mei also withheld for long.
But sym and sombra never took of after their second reworks
I been playing recently she kinda takes lot of effort for no value.
Something i wished she would get this changes.
She’s actually pretty good with that 25% beam charge buff and 275hp
M2 orbs could use a buff but the rest is fine
