Why Does Lifeweaver Have to Reload his Healing?

He has 12 ammo on healing. Healing that needs to be charged, heals for low 65 healing every 1.5s and for whatever reason makes him move 25% slower. Why limited ammo of 12 and almost 2s reload?? Like why? It makes no sense at all and it will only make him feel more clunky.

I dont like the fact that he needs to reload, but i think its there so you can switch to damage or vise versa

If anything, if they ever made it so his left click does heals, and right click does attack.

Would be easier if only the right click had a reload

while thats a good idea, the “being able to destroy the platform at anytime” has its uses

I’m pretty sure the “destroy platform” is on the interact button.

and his petal platform is on secondary
the only real fix i can think of is making his dash more like hanzos but it could be seen as predictable maybe?

I forgot which streamer tested it but if you reload Thorn Volley you also reload his healing.
Just like how Mercy’s blaster gets reloaded if you use the beam.

its less of a “if you reload his thorn volley you reload his healing” and more of a “if his healing is not equiped for the duration of what would be its reload time, then it reloads”
so if he switches to damage for 2 seconds thats the reload time of his healing and his healing would therefore be reloaded, meaning that there might be some method to his madness

I don’t mind and even kinda enjoy the weapon swap as long as it’s fairly snappy, but yeah, his heal would have to be really good to justify needing a reload when he already needs to charge the shots.

I want

  • Left click = Heal (no reload)
  • Right click = Shoot
  • Weapon Swap Key = Platform
    • Left/Right Click for Confirm/Cancel deploy
    • Interact to destroy Platform
  • Hold/Spam Jump = Teammate gets out of LifeGrip

Idk about you but I feel like it’s more natural to damage with left click instead of right,that’s why I rebound Kiriko aswell (not on Moira though cause it doesn’t need aim).

Well yeah, but the devs seem to keep doing it that way. With Moira/Kiriko etc.

Should be allowed either way though.
