Because Freja is mid to long range, while Junkrat is close range. Junkrat is supposed to be up there with his bombs, while Freja plays more back.

Cant junkrat be used at long range too?
Freja is a incompetent archer who can’t even pull a string, junkrat is a master demolition expert that sits on top of explosives to jump, he has made his skin invulnerable to his explosions.

How do people not get this by now? His ideal range is close range. Freja’s is literally any range pretty much. She also goes into the air and hovers.

Don’t forget Junkrat is Australian, his skin is leathered by the sun to withstand deadly spider bites and minor explosions.

He used to, and it was bad for him. His projectiles bounce, hers do not. Only time you should be hurting yourself with Freja is if your shooting someone point blank, and if your in that situation than you already messed up.

He can, but his grenades are extremely easy to avoid at long range.
