Why does Hanzo have a mobility move?

This is honestly one of the most baffling changes Blizzard has every done to this game. Don’t get me wrong I like the new Hanzo’s storm bow but he didn’t need the leap. Hanzo pre rework was still a strong hero in the right hands, the only issue most people had with him was how unfair scatter felt 90% of the time. The change was much needed but adding mobility was extremely unnecessary and just made him the strongest hero in the game. I know that Blizzard never revert a rework like this but I strongly feel that the lunge ability needs to be removed from the game. You can see it in every tier of rank and even in the recent matches of OWL: Hanzo is way too strong. No nerfs to his bow or ult will ever change it.

His brother could also double jump.

It’s hereditary.

ReggaeSloth they are nerfing Hanzo’s ult.
Soon if not already you can’t damage boost Dragonstrike.

yeah, and btw remove Genji dash, Widow hook, etc… too while you’re at it, thanks

Because when scatter arrow got removed, so did Hanzo’s most reliable close-range defense. Leap was a compensation for that.

Because they were going to change him to remove the stupidness that was scattershot and wanted to compensate him. But instead of just storm arrow (which still needs tweaking downwards) and his leap, they also buffed his normal fire. It’s just another scenario of “too many buffs stuffed together without thinking”.

His whole rework is just poorly balanced.

He’s the most picked damage hero from gold tier and above because he’s better than everyone else.

He just needed something to replace scatter, he did not need increase projectile speed and lunge on a laughably short cooldown.

And ever since his rework he’s been getting tickle nerfs.
