False I have sweaty hands and no skill

Sweaty hands are pretty common and more related to just holding an object like a mouse for extended periods of time, not to mention increased stress. It’s not specific to skill level or “how hard” you’re trying.

lol one guy even brought his towel XD

Adderall and other amphetamine salts will cause you to sweat, particularly palms and soles of the feet and forehead.

Is our education system skipping over basic physiology or why are we confused about the purpose of sweat and why it happens?

I think its skipping over reading comprehension

Extremely true and relevant. I demand drug tests tbh.

Its not just owl though, every esports players has sweaty hands most of the time.

Even as a (half) casual player in ow/csgo i’ve had really sweaty games so I guarantee you these arent just sitting around games or where your mind can stay calm all the time specially if you have huge crowd around you & such if you get what I mean.

You certainly proved that with that reply.

People under stress(as OWL players are in the middle of live streamed competitive matches) will sweat as is, but particularly when they are also grabbing on to an instrument for extended periods of time. They use things to towel off the sweat between matches because sweaty palms can hinder mouse handling.

People sweat under stress dude. Like I get you’re trying to make it about OWL or something, but you’re question literally boils down to “why do people sweat.”

exactly, and I think Grey got a point really, I didnt like ur reply at all, but it’s ok.

What makes you think their hands are sweaty? I mean, how would you even know that? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Unless you’re talking about those little bags near their keyboards that they pick up and rub across their palms? If so, those are handwarmers designed to improve blood circulation and dexterity while playing.

Yes, the arena is cold.

Could be the building. Its big, so it needs excessive heating and ventilation.
Players seats are likely to be separately heated -> sweating.

The trick is to have absolutely terrible blood circulation, so instead of sweating like crazy, it feels like you’re holding the mouse with a rock.

The use of steroids or other illegal chemical enhancements are strictly prohibited by the Overwatch League Code-of-Conduct.

I would point out that the Blizzard Arena is commonly cold, so players often exercise their hands and use hand warmers (a.k.a. HotHands) frequently.
