By the time I reload as Junk for example, her matrix is back up?
Why can it also prevent bullets from hitting someone next to her? Does it spread to anyone on her sides?
Why can she shoot WHILE the Defense Matrix is active?

Why does it last so long? Short answer, it doesn’t. Long answer, it’s 3 seconds maximum duration. That’s not hard to play around.
It has a cone in front of her. She can use it to cover friendlies. It’s part of her skill ceiling and how she peels for her team.
She can’t. Her primary does not work while defense matrix is active. She does have micro missiles on a 7 second cooldown that she can use at any time, but that’s an ability and not her gun.

It has a short cool-down period and pretty quick recharge. But it can be countered if you time it right.
She can only fire rockets awhile with DM. She can’t shoot with it. (Face palm moment)

D.Va’s defense matrix lasts for so long (3 seconds with 10 seconds to fully recharge?) because it is her only mode of defense for herself and her team. No one asks “Why does Reinhardt’s shield last for so long” or “Why does Winston’s bubble last for so long?” because we intuitively understand barrier = protection.
Defense Matrix is effectively a projected barrier space, albeit not able to block melee or beam-type weapons. It’s a way that D.Va makes space for her team.

Well, the answer is that you’re bad at the game, and should get your eyes checked because most of what you described never happened.
These are the type of ahole responses I am talking about. They contribute nothing other then insults, derogatory commentary, non-answers, etc And sadly, the forums are flooded with this type of behavior and commentary.
It’s because you deserved it.
These forums have been whining about Dva nonstop since 2016, which frankly, leads to the devs over nerfing her time and again. Dva has been a special outlier since day one in that people like you, who have no idea what they’re talking about, loooove to come here and explain how the character is unfair - describing the use of her abilities in ways that are simply impossible. None of what you described ever happened in the game, and being hyperbolic or disingenuous about it not only doesn’t help your case, but it also encourages others make the same topics with the same complaints. If Dva was truly an issue, you wouldn’t have needed to lie about what she can and cannot do to make your case, and if we were working in the basis of reality, my reply would have been much kinder. But the route you took, and the subsequent doubling down when you were told you were wrong, we’ve been doing that since the day the game launched and it’s time to stop.
TL;DE: If you don’t like the replies, stop lying and fabricating stories.

Your question, itself, is a bad faith form of a complaint lodged against Dva. Instead of outright stating that you think that her matrix lasts too long, you wrap it in a form of a question and then act wounded when you get a pushback.
