Maybe Brigitte, but as a DPS, with inspire removed and the repair packs being for herself. She does not make sense as a support hero.

There was a time when a team had 2 tanks. So ball could dive and disrupt while the other tank protects the rest of the team

Ball is one of the most innovative designs they have come up with and is extremely fun and rewarding to play since he has a high skill cap.

I love Brig. She was meant to be a frontline support, kind of a support/tank hybrid. She’s been shifted more toward support since her release, but she still has that fun brawly feel to her.
I think she fits OW well, because no two heroes should be too much alike. Too many hero games make the mistake of making their heroes effectively interchangeable, so I’m glad we don’t do that.

She did both. She countered dive, and she could frontline with her bloated stats. Release Brig was disgusting.
That’s not why she was released. She was released with the intent to help deal with dive. Not to front line or create goats.

Those two are some of the most “Overwatch” heroes this game has because they’re so far off from being typical shooter game characters.

Ball exists because this game used to be good and some Tanks like ball were able to do this cool thing called “Off-tanking” where they didn’t have to be tied down to their team while their “Main Tank” secured the frontline.
I’ve been maining ball lately. I have a 40% WR and i couldn’t care less. My team might not be having fun but my score is 14 and 1 by the end of my quickplay games. Great for spawncamping too
