Seriously, did nobody teach this woman how to hold a gun correctly? Firing it one-handed is probably destroying her arm from all the recoil. No wonder her accuracy is so mediocre. If she holds her gun with both hands then she’ll finally have decent enough aim to score some picks. It’s not like she’s using her other hand while firing.
Maybe firing one-handed would be useful if she had enough brain cells to figure out she can use hack and shoot at the same. Sadly, the concept of using both hands at once eludes her.
I’m starting to think her cybernetics gave her some brain damage. It would also explain her constant need to shout when doing anything. Maybe if she learned to actually shut up for 5 seconds than she actually be sneaky.
But she only can fire or hack, not both at once. Just fire with both hands and take her left hand off it when she wants to hack. Would also let her hack faster.
It doesn’t look cool. It just makes her look like an idiot. This is a warzone Sombra, not a saturday morning cartoon. Even a Stormtrooper knows how to hold a gun properly.
She holds it fairly steady as is, so I assume she only needs one hand for it. Adding a second hand isn’t actually going to change that much anyway, without a stock or anything attached to stabilize it.
The only reason she doesn’t do two things at once is for gameplay quality, similar to Sigma’s inability to grasp with one hand and throw things with the other at the same time.
Because it’s a video game, and she can’t hack/shoot at the same time for balancing reasons. Not everything has to make sense in a game with a talking monkey, a ghostly man who’s basically half dead, and a cowboy in the 2070s.
All of the animations in this game reflect the character really well. Jack holds the gun like an actual trained soldier and manages the kickback pretty well. Junkrat has his gun all tied together with strings, pieces bobbing and Mei just holds it like it is an ice-cream dispenser at a cafe (nice vid! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Dga-UqdBR8)
I see Sombra’s silly way of holding a gun as a reason for her spread being so terrible haha. In lore, she probably barely uses her gun vs hacking/being sly so the careless one-handed firing kind of shows that
this is the reason why, however, its just fun to poke fun at things that don’t make no sense.
that and i mean, sombra makes no sense in general, like how tf can her teammates see her when she is invisible? how in the living hell does her translocator work? why can she not grasp the concept of not speaking when she reveals herself? and why tf would a bullet stop her from being invisible? like i get it would hurt and maybe make her scream in pain, but she should still be invisible. how can her using emp make her deny the laws of gravity for a solid 3 seconds?
