Why do you hate Juno?

I played a decent amount of comp post patch on console (d1-m5) and pc (d3) and Juno feels awful. Pc felt significantly worse like 5x but console still felt pretty bad. She has no self heal and her main escape tool has been nerfed to have no movement boost. What exactly is your vision with this character? You don’t want her to do damage, you don’t want her healing to be better than mid tier and don’t want her to be able to survive dive. Her main strength pre patch was being evasive. Now she’s a free kill. I played some tracer today too and she’s just so free. Not only is it a major nerf I. Survivability but it’s also just anti fun. She has nothing interesting about her kit anymore besides torpedos that are situational now. Hyper ring is a good ability but the cooldown is too long to use it as a survival tool reliably and using it for aggressive team plays or quick disengage is situational. She’s just a primary fire heal bot that needs peel to function now. Obviously if you’re in a lobby where you would win anyway she works. She can work when ana is banned or if the other team locks her as well. Other than those scenarios she’s actually kind of a throw pick.

The problem with Juno is that Torpedoes shift her power budget in certain directions too much.

We see this with Moira with her massive beam on her secondary fire:

Auto-targetting abilities means that either the ability itself has to be weak to compensate for it’s ease of use, or the rest of the kit must suffer. Moira is a bit more extreme however, in that every single one of her abilities has ridiculous ease of use.

If there is skilled application in the usage of abilities, there is more room in a hero’s power budget for those abilities to be stronger.

Juno has speed + flight broken mobility, makes projectile heroes useless

Juno is so braindead mercy mains can play her, and from reading the forums from this nerf it’s true yall crutched the broken mobility

Torpedos are strong but they are situational. You don’t torpedo to heal unless you literally need to heal everyone because your primary heals faster. You don’t just fly out and torpedo enemies to open an engagement because you will die to any hitscan. They are good when you have a position that can hit multiple targets preferably enemy and ally or at the beginning of your ult when they’re damage boosted which btw is only 110 but people act like they are getting one shot. They auto aim yes but you have an audible queue and get cover so playing against them is not difficult. The only time they feel bad to play against is when Juno is peeling for someone and the torpedo heals the person you were diving and hits you for 85. But that’s a 2v1 with support peel you should lose or disengage anyway. I played tracer as well today and Juno is just free to kill. Even with a brig she just can’t escape. She has no self heal. She has limited mobility for a character that’s supposed to have mobility as her whole thing. She has 225hp and a huge head.

Torpedoes are nice to have but the hero feels clunky now. I like her when i can unlock hs perk but until then it’s a looong way.
Not to say that you will ult with her a grand total of 1-2 times per round (for comparison kiri can 3-5 times)

I mean I can just play kiri and brig who I also main at same rank and win games way easier . She is not broken you just can’t aim. As Juno you don’t just fly in the open. You will die. The speed boost is for escape. This hero literally cannot heal herself. Her mobility is her survivability. It also makes ledge grabbing harder with less momentum. She had a tech where if the ledge was slight higher than you could boost you change directions to climb it a little. That’s gone. She has less mobility than genji and no self heal yet she’s 225 and he’s 250. Her ult is good but less impactful than other supports simply because it takes so long to charge comparatively. Shes pretty much gutted rn. A free kill for decent dive players. Hitscans could already kill her but now it’s even easier because they can do it with bad aim.

Kiri is carried by suzu, Brig is Brig. I know you can’t play Illari, you need broken utility to carry you

Juno still has crazy mobility with speed+ flight, better healing than lucio, good ultimate she’s still solid

That’s half a health bar for most supports…
Even 80 is 1/3 of a healthbar for 225 heroes.

I can play all the supports at my rank except Lucio because I just never put in the time to learn all his routes. Illari is very good and much more threatening to dive characters. In her current state easier and more powerful than Juno. She has a self heal, 250 hp, space denial cooldown that actually can do damage with perks, higher damage output and comparative healing output. You gave a horrible example to prove your point btw.

lmao, there’s no shot put a mercy main on illari they’ll do nothing, on juno they’ll get value

That is the primary use of speed ring so I don’t know what you mean.

But yes the devs hate Juno because they nerf her unnecessarily every season. Taking longer than any other hero to build ult was already making me wonder if I should just stop playing her.

So you’re saying she’s easy to play? Because that’s not the same as being overpowered or even good. Juno is easy to pick up but has nothing to do with her nerfs being warranted for poor aim. Mercy main that never played Juno (alot of mercy mains do play other heroes and can do it well btw) most likely gonna get value if she just heal bots and there happens to be no good dive on the enemy team. Otherwise no. She will get dove and swap to Moira. Guaranteed. Her glide boost is a cooldown that basically useless now except for flying over holes or back to spawn. It doesn’t increase your speed to escape. It doesn’t help you ledge grab anymore so you could just double jump anyway unless it’s a one direction ledge grab you can still do that. With reboots you can use it for late game torpedos or taking high ground on really high spots like eich or kings row but like a lot of the time it’s just a pointless cd now. She’s too vulnerable without speed or self heal. She can’t function without peel and you just hero that requires peel just isn’t good unless you’re in a stack.

Moiras power budget has been blown through the roof at this point. Such a needlessly power crept hero. The high self healing + low fade cooldown is too much. You can’t even punish her during Coal anymore because that had its weaknesses buffed out too.

Moira is the most useless support lol

The reason I said that is because will say that you can just use your hyper ring to escape but that’s not really what it’s for and the cd is too long to be using it for that reliably without just getting chased down anyway.

Oh. Yeah it is not a reliable escape tool and should really only be used as one when facing many divers.

She isn’t good but has been power crept to be insanely obnoxious.

Anyways, aren’t you supposed to be an aim supremacist?

Easy to play != overpowered.

When the standard for the support role is Ana all supports are gonna be broken.

Moira is useless cause no util

Ana isnt even the strongest the support individually she’s just broken because of the amount of things she can shut down if you can survive on her or keep her alive if she’s on your team. It’s pretty clear to me to that everyone that likes this change is either someone who can’t aim or someone who doesn’t play the hero or tried to since the patch. Anyone that played her against competent hitscans even before the patch knows they will just kill you. You use the glide as your escape for anti dive in most cases. Sometimes if you have an advantage you can use it aggressively but those are fights you would usually win anyway. Some people just played her as heal bot before and don’t even notice the change and that’s fine too but this change kind of just reduces her to that for everyone and it’s just taken all the fun out of the hero. On top that removed her viability against competent players outside of team play.
