Why do you even have a boosting/deranking report button?

I am 10000000% convinced the boosting/deranking report button is purely for cosmetics at this point. I report people for obvious stuff (racism and outright toxicity) and have had plenty of “thank you for reporting” messages. Out of curiosity, I stopped reporting anyone other than people that are blatantly deranking or boosting. And I haven’t gotten a single “thank you for reporting” message. This has been for a few months now too. It appears that blizz only cares about what people say and nothing else. I would take having someone toxic on my team ANY day over losing to yet another duo that dominates the lobby.

Before I get the onslaught of “how do you know some one is boosting???”
It’s obvious. Support/DPS duo, dps is 38-3 meanwhile every other dps in the lobby is 14-6.

It wouldnt be so bad if this was a every once in a while thing. But it’s EVERY DAY. 2 games today vs a booster/smurf.

WHY EVEN HAVE THE OPTION TO REPORT THIS IF YOU WON’T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT?

We had a support-DPS duo in Platinum, and the DPS had over 50 eliminations, while both of our DPS players had less than 10 each… The guy was clearly playing on an account where no one had ever played DPS before! It was obviously a gold/low-plat account with 100% support heroes.
And of course, we NEVER got a “Thank you for the report,” even though the entire team reported them…
