Placements at start of every season
? I can’t see a point of it… Or have someone seriously glimb up a rank at placement ? Season itself is a good idea to reward a players with lootboxes and comp ponits, maybe publish a new skins between seasons, but bruh… Placements are kinda ”waste of time”, or does ” pbsr system ” work harder at that time as example you can get / lose 50-150 sr per game like at very first time when you play comp ?
I have no idea. Last time I did placements, I got placed almost exactly in the same rank that I climbed to. I was around 800SR when I first started playing this game and gradually climbed to 1648SR. After doing placements, I got placed 1689SR after losing two out of five games. I find it hard to believe that Blizzard was able to accurately rate which rank I belong just from five games. And the only reason why I climbed was because I grinded, but my skill level have been staying relatively the same the whole time. Especially once I hit 1200SR (high bronze).
why are you…
still baiting people into your threads instead of actually titling your post?
If i don’t ” bait ”, i don’t see you in my topics
Completing placement matches qualifies you for end of season rewards including bonus Competitive Points.
Simple business strategy, nothing wrong with it.
they let u qualify for end of season rewards. that’s all they are, because they don’t really matter otherwise. and the end-of-“season” isn’t meaningful, either. without mmr/sr resets, we’ve been in the same season for 5+ years.
You can mouse over the title to see the rest of the sentence and not view the thread if you don’t like.
It is so they can adjust the SR by more than the usual amount for those that don’t play very often without upsetting them.
I did on DPS. Last season I went 4-1 placed 2800 and camped it until end of the season. This season I went 4-1 again placed 3k. Also why do you keep misspelling climb?
I’ve replied to 2 of the 3 you have used this titling system in.
Both asking the same question.
Doesn’t work on mobile my friend
Neither does overwatch, friend.
Don’t crush my dreams……
