Why do some channeled ults get interrupted

by stun or hack and some don’t for example

soldier and genji don’t get interrupted but moira and hog do…why is that

Soldier and Genji are transformation ults.

I saw a few days ago that a good way to tell the difference is if you can use other abilites during, its transformation.

Channeled ults aren’t transformation ults. Zen Genji 76 Briggs are a few examples of transformation ults.

Edit: Jesus, I know Zen is a channel now, stop it.

If it was channeled he could be stunned out of it

No, because making him invulnerable is a particularity of this ult, it’s in its description. He can’t be killed either (except environmentally).

Zen’s is channeled ult as he can’t use any ability while sustaining it. It just, out of chance, invulnerable by nature, so he can’t be stunned out of it.

Transcendence is channeled. He’s just immune to damage most CC.

Well seems like OP’s question was already answered though. Transformation ults can’t be interrupted, but you can hack/stun them still, just doesn’t take them out the ult.

Like if I’m a ulting Mercy, hacking me is probably a good idea, so I can’t use GA or rez during my ult

Soldier and Genjis ult aren’t channeled ult there Transforming ults.

You can find out which are which by looking at there vase ability while using there ult.
If they can us any of there base ability in the ult its Transforming if they cant use any of them its channeled.
