Is it just because no viable alternatives or why do you all hate play this.
It’s never going to be balanced especially in a tank perspective.
Other roles will also have issues. It’s season 10 at this point.

Game was great before season 9 hp/ hitbox changes for bad players. Been playing other fps more now.

I personally uninstalled as an act of boycotting.
I mean, I get it and understand. OW1 was an amazing game; its concept was/will keep people hooked. I however, will not support the game in any way with the direction the game is going. The more people continue to support and throw money at mediocre pixels the longer it’s going to take for the devs to actually get of their —.
I still have passion for this game, so I will continue to post here wherever my point of view is valid (not new patches). I have a few friends that still tell me stuff so I get what’s happening. Not enough to have a valid opinion, though.
It was a lot better before S9; far from what it was in OW1. You cannot compare OW1 to OW2 unless you’re trashing on OW2 which makes sense.
Hitboxes were a huge blow to the game. I’m awful at aiming and even I know that it was a careless move to drag bad players into the game with the goal to gaslight them into thinking they’re good.
The real cherry on top was the DPS debuff. Delete that — right now. This is what ultimately made me actually run a data shredder on OW so the virus is deleted from my PC.

Cause they are addicted just like how I once was. It took me years to finally break free, to stop caring about comp and the endless crap chase that are ranks and I was sick of the idiot devs and their stupid decisions so I’ve uninstalled, been a’lot happier and less depressed and never looked back and am now enjoying much better games instead of this garbage.
Because there is some skins that I don’t wanna miss like the widow one at lvl 80.
It’s just in case one day 6v6 comeback… I don’t wanna regret missing skins that I liked if the game that I loved (Ow1 6v6 oq) comeback.
One word: addiction. Some just stick around hoping this game will get better.

Blizz games are the most polished out there. Even Diablo 4 makes other ARPGs look like retro games. When their games are just normal, they’ll easily be the best on the market.
But the directors/balance teams are INTing so hard.

OW1 before Ana was added was such an absolute blast. Been huffing copium ever since.

I took like 2-3 years off.
I certainly don’t hate the game, but I don’t like playing it when it is very obvious that I am being held back by my own teammates. Not being healed, DPS are AFK in spawn, another DPS is flanking and dying every 30 seconds… on top of that I have to play tank for quicker games. If I’m not at the very least being healed when I play tank then I know it’s time to stop playing the game.

For the time being people are just waiting on Marvel Rivals and valves game. It will put some good much needed pressure for Blizz to perform. It may force them to go back and listen to their community.

The problem is that the community is dumb (me included).
If Marvel Rivals, Mecha Break, or deadlock are any good I will drop OW for good. Honestly the only reason I still play this game is because this is only common game my friends and I play. If there is another game we can switch over too that is fun I dont think any of us would hesitate to stop play OW.

There’s really just no competitor that does
Hero-Shooting, First-person, no-moba gameplay except the inner core abilities and strategies the right way. I used to play Paladins a long time ago and I completely failed getting back into it. TF2 is just botted and isn’t worth investing anymore and other ones trying to replicate just don’t have the same recipe as above.
But truly, if only one of them did lore and pve the same, I’d quit and be gone for good 100%. The balance team is just garbage, people said Geoff was bad, but this worse as it goes and let’s not even talk about the mmr and comp being absolutely busted beyond belief.

Absolutely. These people are excited for third person shooter games because they are THAT desperate for a competitor to Overwatch. Everyone is raving about Marvel Rivals or Deadlock when in reality those games are for Fortnite kids. Let’s be real.
