I occasionally get notifications that someone is spectating me but they aren’t on my team and waiting to respawn, or on my friends list. They never end up saying anything. I just end up with performance anxiety because some stranger is now watching me die or run back from spawn. I don’t know how long they’re there during the match. I’ve been playing the game a month and a half maybe. So maybe I’m just ignorant to something that’s normal, but I genuinely don’t know why someone would want to watch ME play. I’m not the best player, so maybe it’s for a laugh. But I suppose I’d expect someone to then talk trash. But they don’t. It’s just random silent watchers occasionally and I just find it strange. If you’re someone who spectates players, why? I understand having something to watch while waiting to respawn in a match. But I just don’t see myself going and watching someone random in a game. Apologies if I’m just not aware of something that’s pretty normal for most players. It just throws me for a loop whenever I see the notification pop up and I have zero clue who it is.
Crazy concept but the 4 other people in the match also have people on thier friend’s list that can spectate your match

It’s probably one of the other players has a friend waiting to group up until after the game. In the meantime they can just watch.
“crazy concept” tends to be used in a “well dumbass” sort of manner, so it definitely came off a bit aggressive but it’s alright. As mentioned, I’m a newer player and it was a question out of genuine curiosity.
