So I hear DF is getting a Rocketpunch nerf.
Clearly he needs it: DoOmFiSt Is OP AnD HaS ZeRo BuGs - YouTube . As to why the dev’s are ignoring the prolonged inconsistencies and bugs for him while nerfing him more is beyond me.
I found this video because I had a match recently where a punch did not register and was curious if I was the only one to still have issues this late into his release history.
To those who think he’s OP have you not played Sombra? (Edit correction, I am not saying she isn’t a hard counter, but to those who argue he is helpless to fight against if they have used her against him.) I would say use Brigitte still but she is about durable as wet toilet paper since her rework.

Yeah, find it extremely effective in reducing his overall mobility and preventing dive against team mates. Why I am curious why he needs a nerf.
Ah playing sombra against a doom. Nothing is better than actually countering him and making him useless.
The forum does indeed lie when they say sombra isn’t a counter.

Can you even hack with Moira balls.
Other thing is that u need at least 2 seconds for a hack. Everytime soon can kill someone with in 0.5second and go back to safety. You won’t even see him.
DF needs a cooldown nerf 4sure,
What scenario are you trying to prove your point with? Sombra counters doom no matter what. If you fail to hack doom then that’s on you.
Doomfist is hella fun to play but when you’re fighting him it just feels frustrating. Like there is nothing you can do. I get balancing based on feelings is stupid but this is a game and if people aren’t enjoying it, it doesn’t matter how many stats you show them about how “bad” Doomfist really is. They are going to leave.
Honestly I think it’s best if “frustrating” characters like doomfist, symmetra, mei, bastion etc. remain niche picks otherwise the health and longevity of the game will suffer, and if ow isn’t rolling in numbers, then free content goes down.
I also love to play doomfist, he’s my go to dps. But at the end of the day, you have to at least consider the lower ranks because they make up most of your playerbase (and thus the income).

I would agree but we have seen some insane reworks because of OWL, which is the opposite of the average player that just wants to have fun and are more casual.
I would say frustrating is subjective and from the player. Feel like it can come from being lazily two shot by Junkrat or have your team rolled because of a EMP when prior to you were rock solid on defending a point against every other reactable event.
I didn’t mean for this to turn into a Sombra debate, meant towards those who think he is OP or there is no hope against him if they have played one of, if not his hardest counters so he doesn’t become useless from complaints.
