I think it’s funny that people accredit Tracer for high skill due to her insane mobility, but then turn around and call Mercy completely brainless even though her kit has mobility that rivals Tracer’s in the right hands.
I will have a look through my posts, I am sure I called it out at some point. Although I do typically try to ignore it.
And spot on about Genji, I have countless hours on him in QP, but will rarely play him in comp. He is simply too difficult for me. If I get picked off playing support by a Genji, I know how clinical that player is better than most, as it’s something I will never be able to do
Dey do not know de way.
De way of de chain-dash.
I spit on dem.
Widowmaker has incredible positioning requirements… her entire ability to function requires her to use the best sightlines whilst making her the least vulnerable to dive whilst outpositioning the enemy widow.
Widow is like the one dps hero who does genuinely have a higher positioning skill requirement than Reinhardt.
I think it’s funny you think Tracer is high skill due to her mobility.
Funnier still that you suggest Tracer and Mercy’s mobility is in any way comparable.
Tracer isn’t high skill just because of her mobility and Mercy isn’t brainless just because of her mobility. If what you claimed made any sense, then any Mercy with good GA usage would also be a decent Tracer. Obviously, that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Oh God, the hours and hours I put into Tracer.
I don’t think people realise how hard it is to balance blinks to the point it feels like you always have one up. Or how to blink and already be aiming at your target.
Playing Tracer keeps me on the edge of my seat, I don’t think I am ever as focused on anything as much as when I play Tracer.
I would never suggest a Tracer would be good at Mercy just because she’s used to high mobility. They have vastly different methods of using mobility. Mercy needs to keep track of her teammates, time their input well, and abuse movement bugs like super jump to even have a chance of surviving. All whilst bouncing between low health targets and being the main target to assassinate.
I mean all Tracer needs to do is press a button and she has a get of jail free card. /s
Oh, dude, that is Mercy’s biggest mood. When I first bought the game back on release day I thought I’d gotten the wrong game because Overwatch is labeled as a team-based FPS and what I’d logged into was a freaking bullet-hell shooter.
I’ve been a admin for a Teamfortress 2 community server group since about 2012, I’ve had to spectate literally hundreds of hackers over the years (TF2 is free to play now days so its hack city) and lemme tell ya, despite their aimbot they usually get destroyed.
I’ve seen so many hackers with insane aimbots who were still getting wrecked thanks to their complete lack of game sense.
Aim is important but its effectively useless if you can’t stay alive long enough to get something out of it.
True but this community is horribly stupid. I genuinely question how 99% of OW players can take care of themselves with how stupidly they play this game. The forums is the best place to see how really dumb this community is.
