Why do people ship Doomfist & Lucio?

It’s rare to see Doomfist was being shipped as he’s not very popular, attractive man compared to male heroes like Mccree.

Doomfist & Lucio have like 19-year age gap and their personalities don’t synergize well with each other.

Doomfist wants to start another war between humans & omnics in order to strengthen the humanity. He had no problem with killing his own teacher in order to get the “Doomfist” title.

Lucio cares about his people who live with him in the neighbourhood. He also promotes positive social change where he’s a key revolutionary figure for rallying his people against Vishkar’s oppression. He didn’t dislike the omnics and also believe everyone has their freedom to live as they choose.

That’s like shipping Soldier:76 or Reaper with Mccree. Although mostly everyone goes for Reaper76, McHanzo already…

I’m surprised Doomfist isn’t shipped with Orisa/Winston as they both are rivals or arch-nemesis to each other. (Winston isn’t shipped with anyone as well.)
Rival ships exist such as WidowTracer, Moicy & Reaper76.

Honestly, I can kinda see it in a cracky way.

Like, Lucio is the cutest and most pure being in the Overwatch universe. If anyone could redeem Doomfist, it would have to be him.

Some people like 2 attractive, ethnically diverse guys to be together. It’s the same reason why people ship Hanzo and Mccree. People do what they do.

Zenyatta may be more capable, but sadly he’s an omnic where Doomfist doesn’t fond of.

Wait, huh? I never knew about this ship. I always saw Lucio shipped with D.va, mainly because of their voice actors’ shenanigans.

I wonder who Doomfist is best shipped with, though :thinking:

I don’t see a lot of posts on the internet (e.g facebook, reddit) where people talk about how hot/attractive Doomfist was.
Unlike Mccree, there’re plenty of posts that everyone fancies him.
