Usually it is the ones carried by the ones which actually won the match.

I imagine most of them are pre-pubescent teens who play the game after school instead of doing their homework, resulting in their mothers yelling at them about it after every match.

Seagull mentioned on some stream that the only people who really bother to talk a ton of smack in video games are those that are slightly better than others, but still not really good.
As those are the only players who care.
Like EZ etc in some QP game is the biggest low SR clout move a person can do. Like would anyone other than a high plat even care they beat a team with some golds or a silver etc in QP?

this doesn’t count grudge match sort of good nature smack talk. That’s a different issue. I IM Field and dome a Reaper a few times and then he solo ULT’s me and poke some fun, that’s 100% fine.
They say EZ when they don’t get kills very often and are incredibly excited to get one kill…

It’s the short version of “ez gg” which gets censored in chat. They are just being toxic. Feel free to report for abusive chat if you wish. Some people do and some don’t. I do in Arcade modes.

bc they think they are better and like winning is confirming this fact, and they think defeat on the enemy screen is not enough notification to discourage loosers, so they want to add some salt on top of it, and feel better when someone is sad. Usually has been done by worst players in enemy team or those who has sweatty butt after this match and molten chair bc game was hard af for them.

100% this. I notice in my games where people say “ez” are the ones who died the most and did almost nothing all match to contribute to their team.

It’s just like saying “git gud…” Variations of “EZ” are just ways that bad people trying to make other people feel bad. There’s no reason or justification for it, and I tend to assume that anyone who has to trash talk after winning a game has no other outlet for their bad manners or poor attitude.
