Why do people randomly give shotcaller?

Yea thats about it /\

I only give shot collars to Roadhogs…thats my excuse lol other than that dunno about everyone else.

I think if you’re playing agressively and pushing the group or pulling them. i guess directing the flow of conflict.

I do the same except i always give them to torbjorns.

Just before i was playing Ana, and i had no coms or anything that time.
Still got it

Your nano boost might have helped with that.

I give it to people I am super impressed with. It is like the green one is a bronze medal, the purple one is silver, and the gold is, well, gold.

Maybe you have Twenty inch blades on the Impala

XP man, you get something for endorsing others…

which is why i think the whole system isn’t going to work like everyone wants it too.

i’ve been given endorsements for joining a game at the end because of leavers and literally not given a chance to do anything.

sometimes i get shotcaller and don’t see how i could have earned that in game.

when i do get it and feel it’s earned it is nice though…

don’t abuse this system guys! it could mean a world of difference in game…

I only give out shot callers because they’re rare in your endorsement ring thingy.

I get them as Zen a lot. I guess using discord is calling out targets, which is fair.

I generally give them to people who use the communication wheel effectively. “My ult is ready”, “Understood, my ult is also ready”.

I do it because of my mild OCD, I want them to have a perfect balance between “Shot Caller, Good Teammate, and Sportsmanship” and for the xp

I’m guessing at most it’s cuz someone was talking and they forgot who it was? Other than that I guess they’re just trying to be nice.

A lot of people just give an endorsement for whatever color is lacking. Get that pretty 3 color circle. Most people have lots of purple but not much orange or w.e shot calling is.

Endorsement is a joke, I randomly give out or barely at times. I also get endorsed when I’m trying out new characters and suck at it… or when I just joined at a losing game. This whole endorsement play is part the PC warrior scheme that is literally at every corner in this game.

Because I like when I get it, so I give it to people I thought were particularly helpful.

Outside of actual shotcalling the description allows for strategic moves so I usually will give it to people who helped set up big plays like a Graviton that ended in a teamwipe or something.

Because you get 50xp. Also for other endorsements of course, but why not use all of them

I only give endorsements to tank and healers, and If I feel a healer did a good job I give them shotcaller.

I even endorse the enemy team’s healers before even thinking about endorsing DPS players.

Because I want to put the whole system on trial.
