It’s generally tied to the type of behavior the mains exhibit - Genji mains being the worst in the entire community and thus get roasted a lot.

at some point it becomes so widespread that the onus lies on the person who gets called out to assert their position.
but to sum it up, some people aren’t reasonable, some are but only to a degree.
i know for a fact that i am not reasonable when it comes to some things but i can atleast admit to as much.
I think that crown goes to hanzo, I’ve never met a nice hanzo main. I was playing support the other day and I talk in vc and our hanzo opens up with shut the heck up if you get what I mean.

I thought you got what I meant by the very very first thread. I said I was silenced from until August 1 6:00. I removed it after like 2 minutes because I wasn’t happy with the thread and how I worded it. I thought it would just be better to make a new thread, also if I really wanted attention I would put some really stupid stuff in the post and title.

Unfortunately stereotypes do exist for a reason. I acknowledge that I’m not like the stereotypical Mercy main, but I’m not about to get upset when someone discusses Mercy mains in a particular light because…well…they still have a point. Just like Genji mains, there are a lot of whiny, unreasonable people who play that hero.
People need a scapegoat, so they use whatever information they have that could be damning, whether its your level, your username, your endorsement level, or your hero pick. You cant avoid these types, just have to ignore it however you can.
