What does playing DPS role have to offer when a Support or Tank can do the exact same while aiding team mates?
Need burst? Zen Dva

Mostly DPS mains have been playing CoD for much time. CoD must not have been existed.
No they aren’t, a Zen can buff his entire teams damage while doing more damage than a Genji or Mccree, who is better will come down to skill, so again why is there a role for it

the tanks will be the big ult battery for the enemy tho
the dps deal a lot of damage while not giving the enemy much ult charge and have better chance of surviving, they have the best mobility / burst damage and consistent too

Ults, A zen cannot get a quad with his ult, Nor can he counter pharamercy. Really, if the game wants to have sales it cannot be shown as a Non-Shooter.

And it is more of a problem about Zen Than anything
It’s funny when people say this is a DPS-dominated game even though there have been entire metas without them.
Besides that, dps heroes do good damage without needing their team to protect tnem, that’s the difference between a dps and, say, zen.

Finally something I’m slightly believing. Dps cater to the people who buy FPS games. Is that why they have a CoD mindset?
To remind support classes that support means to actually support because that is indeed how you support the supported. AKA stop runnign ahead like you are a dps YOU FOLLOW US YOU SUPPORT US. Tanks-dps-support in that order.

Also, They do not feed ults 24/7 As well as having the small hitboxes, So they can go on a flank, And add more challange to the game, If we filled the game with 1star heroes only, It would be pretty boring

Ana has a small hit box and is 3 stars, and last time I recalled DPS were mad that Moira took their gold elims, she’s an effective flanker
