When you put it that way I guess I hgpe mei just doesnt turn into a mindless left click holding character though where people dont even have to aim I like skillful characters.
Wasnt really thinking about combos in OW2 but that does sound pretty broken. Like I said above though I really hope she doesnt turn into a left click bot. I like skillful characters.
not rly. itās the worst beam compared to other beam heroes, lowest range and still lowest damage by like half even after that damage increase. also is a projectile so you need to lead it unlike the hitscan beams
Meiās primary is not good anymore. Iād argue that Crees right click is a much better CC ability than endo in itās current state. Mei needs changes but with OW2 round the corner itās pointless suggesting any, not that Mei suggestions go anywhere because Blizzard are too busy nerfing her rather than making her useful for anything but a 12s buggy ability.
I donāt think they are both perfectly balanced but still.
Itās just a ārandomā result of their kits. They both need to be bursty but not too bursty so Mei would need to freeze target before and McCassidy in exchange would be allowed to shoot faster so even if he misses a diver itās still not too terrible.
70-75 is just a perfect middle number. You donāt get a kill with a headshot but you still cause quite a lot of damage so you are bursty.
Ashe also have the same value btw.
They all force you to combine another ability for a kill combo while still being useful by themselves.
Falloff damage
Projectile speed and size
Makes it easier for mei.
Also meiās role is an off tank not main dps.
So I have another question, why the hell mei have the same numbers as actual damage dealer with that size of the universe projectile that has the fastest speed in a game, and she also has clutching area-denial ult and pretty much tanking kit?
Its almost as if I was comparing apples to apples with the stun kill combo.
You are the only one over here talking about completely incomparable parts of kit.
Although, if you ask me, high damage consistent lasers bullets will always be the best weapon type in this game. Very few regular abilities are better besides barriers
Its not and itās existed since April 10th 2018, when Endothermic Blaster got the change that made it pierce through enemies, making it a source of aoe damage
Its exactly right, its a thinner aoe but has length to it compared to others, and how exactly is junkratās frag launcher whos majority of damage comes from the splash not direct, not an aoe attack exactly?
by technicality would be calling quick melee aoe, it technically is but rarely if ever applies, meiās pierce and junkrats explosions can and do hit multiple opponents in realistic scenarios, theyāre aoe, and in junkrats case the aoe allows him to hit opponents he otherwise wouldnāt at all
I can still get in and play Overwatch, so it isnāt dead yet.
But the reason you donāt see a lot of new hero shooters is they are expensive, hard, and have a history of failing.
Look at the survivors, Overwatch, and Paladins, maybe TF2 (special case, because TF2ās problems is more bots than anything else).
Now look at the dead from the same period. Lawbreakers (very twitch reflex shooter heavy), Quake Champions.
The rest are more arena games.
The issue is moving towards pure twitch shooter means it has to compete with other twitch shooters, which there are a LOT of.
I donāt remember seeing anything about buffing the icicles, at best theyāll probably change the initial cast time on it, most compensation buffs were in the endothermic blaster itself, it might be my imagination but it seemed to slow faster, its damage has also been increased from 55 dps to 90, it might receive further buffs or they might go to buffing other parts of her kit
Edit: Just thought of something, with the removal of freeze and thus the thaw mechanic with it, there wont be anything that resets meiās slow stacks, so while she wont freeze she can permanently slow a target down at max slow value she provides, this could get very dangerous IMO, cant wait to see it in action
